A young child, born to a famous South African poet(father) and an american college professor(mother).
He grew up and lived with his mother only and had met his father a handful of times in his childhood until he turned 6. Ever since then his life was proclaimed to have be going straight down. A couple years after this incident he met a kid who also had an African father who abandoned him, his name was Tyler Okonma and soon they became something like brothers. They both had a passion for music and Tyler had already set his foot into the pool of music and begun his career. This put a spark into a earl and he created music and by the time he was 17 or 18 he was already in the Odd future. This collective was one of the biggest at the time and the most complex and "disliked" band at the time. Earl had a few songs with tyler, he had one in bastard called AssMilk. Then a few years after he created an album of which would lead the way into new albums. With every album that came out Earl got wiser and wiser and with that he became recluse towards the public eye with occasional paparazzi shots.
This reclusivenes made his fans become eary for a new single or album and it was recieved in first a single format that showed a glimpse of what he has been preparing. To be continued

It’s 2023 and this is still a hit.
Can’t say much with the music we been getting today.

So much unnoticed talent here! Earl is one of the best lyricists in modern time and too many people don't even know who he is.

I truly believe 100% that someday we will all talk about how Earl Sweatshirt was/is the greatest lyricist of all time. The kid's vocabulary and word play is so dense it takes multiple spins before I catch all the brilliance in his songs.

Justin Vavala Okay thats fine, but dont jazz him and say "of all time" wayyyy to many other rappers to say that.

It's a shame that when rappers raps about true shit the song doesnt get many views but that hotline bling shit has way more views than this piece of art.

after losing everyone I truly understand everything he’s saying. Painting pain with his words. An Artist.
