@@JJ_MTB_15 I'm here with my 2019 Marlin 4 that was about $600 after I got what I needed for commuting to work and college. Spent 3 months saving for it at minimum wage. Solid bike for sure, but that's closer to what I'd call "affordable". If I had tons of money, I still would call a bike at the Trek Full Stache 8 range to be the absolute limit in terms of how much anyone would spend and I still think it's super unreasonable. I have '19 Pro Race Jeffsy 29. was waiting on this review for comparison of my experiences with my bike - riding wise.
MK2 Jeffsy (2019 onwards) is most definitely not lively XC bike, like MK1 was. it's a hardcore AM bike, at least.
I also have MK1 Capra Pro Race, great great enduro bike, as we all know - and I'd go as far to say that Jeffsy has no problem being an enduro bike. have you seen the new Jeffsy frame - it's THICK!
thicker than MK1 Capra, that's for sure.
I also put -2° angleset, and raised front to 160mm, and it transformed the Jeffsy into full enduro bike.
    love that bike

66° would be enough, for sure, but with 64° (I think it's even less than that now) it's showing its true colors - which is downhill prowess.
seat angle, and angleset capability were top selling points, for me.
it rides with no problem whatsoever. composed going up, pummeling going down.
