It was sand blasted & re-undercoated, but the frame rotted from the inside-out. @@grewsgarage Agreed 100% for me its yr 3, before I'll even consider the next gen of the Tacoma. They should've gone with a turbo diesel, I hate the idea of a turbo 4 in a tacoma.
@@user-ej1bq4bq2w 100% the only turbo 4 in a Tacoma that would excite me would be a diesel.
bro my 2021 tacoma is my first toyota -already junk -unbelievable this is a $40k jap truck ... makes no sense.... aside from design-wise nothing makes sense -I've had the leaky rear diff, alignment issue, brakes shaking the entire truck, paint chips off u breathe on it, clear vinyl coming off, and already rust on my frame etc....
Sad to here that man, but the Japan has not made most Toyotas for a while sadly. I honestly hate how many issues I’m having with my 2022
@@grewsgarage ill add too -that all the problems were fixed -so far -and aside from paint... and that s more than I can say for other manufactures like VW Ford or even GM now. ...after 18k miles problems have plateau'd - I'm hoping its just a break-in thing ...fwiw
@@comment_below same, Toyota took care of my issues.
i'd buy a nissan before a toyota , toyota s full of themselves and gone downhill
I can say my 2011 is built better
@@grewsgarage i have a 2022 colorado redline , 2wd , i had a 2016 z71 off road silverado , i miss it , but the transmission was rebuilt twice under warranty , as soon as the warranty expired , it started giving me trouble again, we tried to get a 4x4 colorado , but in our area , we could not find any , so , we settled for the 2wd , why a colorado ? it has 7000lbs towing , and it's just us 2 , and , i'm liking it more then i thought i would , it's gloss black, tow package , v6
It appears that your Tacoma needs to be repaired at the dealership and under the warranty. 🫡
It was, check out the part 2 video, I address how they took care of me. Thanks for watching
