    @ Charlie was great to hear how you got into the buisness. Maybe when Uncle SAM is done with me I will look tondo the same.
    I do love washes as well. But, I tend tonmake them myself with thinned paint. Find a darker tone of what Im shading and add water so it will pool.
    As a beginner painter, I think people are too down on the "coffee staining" effect. It has great uses for things like canvas packs and kit.

      I'm of the same mind, I'd love to work in the hobby industry post military. I have never made my own washes but have made my own "speed paints", probably just need to water them down a bit more. -WP

      @@SamDeJarnettDJ yeah! I feel if I worked in the industry, most of my pay check would go towards my addiction....so that could be dangerous! Haha!
      If I had the acumen, I would definitely make my own washes. Every time I have experimented with it, I was so pleased with the consistency. However, as with painting...practice makes perfect. It would be extremely cost effective if I could master it.
