Perfect timing. I have just replaced the rear brakes in my (new to me a year ago) 63 MGB...( I have owned 30 Brit cars to include other MGBS and Cs) What an ungodly mess....which required axle removal, skads of new parts... etc. In addition, The DPO removed and trashed all the hardware for the E brake on the diff /axle housing .. so fitted new.. Thought I was done with his butchery until I saw what he did to the e brake cable and adjuster. Had to order all new. Thanks John Spot On. !
Yeah! I think I could do this one without a Ritalin drip! The SU carb sync, and needle valve adjustment… not so much. I love the look of an old MG, and now that I’m retired I’ve thought about one (TD, A or B), but I think I’m better off just watching and admiring. I have great admiration for folks that can do this kind of stuff!
John, how should the pedal feel? Mine feels incredibly stiff, like maybe a 1/2 inch of play. I also have to exert a lot of force on it to brake. 1968 mgb

Good grief, was that a new car lift. Looks like you’ve cleaned the place out. Ready for my next stalled project. Nice video, John.
Outstanding video.
Hey, I'm one of the friends in Auckland! Come and have a look at my '71 and '72 B GT's if you're ever here.
If you ever make your way down to florida again, it'd be awesome to meet you
Most of the video's have one problem, Lighting. Otherwise a wealth of information.
