- Janmashtami is the festival celebrates the birth of Krishna.
He is worshipped as the eighth avatar of Vishnu.
Krishna was born in the Yadava clan of Mathura to Queen Devaki and her husband, King Vasudeva.
His birth was to kill the demon king of Mathura Kans & free the citizens of Mathura from his injustice & cruelty.
He is the god of love, tenderness and compassion.
Amongst the many incidences from the life of Shree Krishna, one significant incident is Draupadi Vastraharan.
And how Lord Krishna saved the dignity of Draupadi from her own family just because of her trust & faith in him.
