Hey Guys! Remember every little purchase helps! graysonhobby.com/r168-d16-8ch-pwm-sbus-s-port-receiver.html Here is an in depth tutorial on the R168 - ua-cam.com/video/GyzYnOkMIlw/v-deo.html
Hey! I would love to buy an RTX16s Black Carbon or Red Max edition with hall sensors. I am trying to get one for month, in Europe it is impossible. Do you have them in stock?
Wait, so negative at the top, positive in the middle, and signal on the bottom? I just received my R88 today and it shows negative at the bottom, positive in the middle, and signal at the top.
Glad you have these receivers, I just purchased three RadioMaster receivers from you guys since I left Spektrum and went to FRSky x20S. They easily bound right up , now for the flight test.
Hi. Here is an awesome update about R88 receiver. finally after testing the blank (4th pin) the pin which is mentioned as 'X' in usermanual which is present near the SBUS port i found out that its the external voltage measurement pin which measures and transmits voltage value to the transmitter with "A2" label. I tested it with my R88 V2 receiver in D16 mode. not sure if it works with R88 V1 or D8 mode. Initially the ratio needed to be calibrated for accurate voltage value.
Just returning to RC after a 20 yr hiatus; understand how Rip Van Winkle felt! lol Saw you guys hanging with the quad-generation guys and prefer to trade with privately operated shops. Best wishes. Heathen's Greetings!
Thanks. Glad to see their offerings, and to have options. Also nice to see they have a small, inexpensive 4 channel receiver! I still use many Frsky V8R4-II receivers and the R84 could be a replacement for them.
I see there are even more recievers on radio masters website. I dont see the R168 as being sold anymore. What is radio masters best receiver for an RC plane now that can also do battery readout? Also is it better to have more channels than you need?
hey I have until the 30th to return the current stuff I have. I want a nudget build. transmitter receiver gyro, what do you recomend? I have radiolink blaahhh!!!
Hi, very nice video. At this time what kind of recivers do you recomend me to use with my radio radiomaster tx16s, i need it to a 3D airplane 7 or 8 chanels but is important that come with telemetry for the battery. Please help me.
Hi Guys !! great video !!, I have a question, I need to upgrade (hardware) my old Taranis X9D Tx (international version) , that is bind to a lot of old Rx Frsky DR8-II PLus, do you think that it wolud work IF I purchase this Tx and bind to my existing old frsky DR8-II PLus (international versions) ? I really would really appreciate from you if you can help me with this question/issue. Greetings again from Sweden !
Hi Bill, I would like to buy a receiver from this company Hot RadioMaster R86 2,4 ГГц ..... Question...are they compatible with the company's transmitters FrSky - Have they been tested for compatibility with transmitters from other companies.
Hi Guys, amazing products and great video 👍 Already ordered a couple of R168's 😉 Can you show us the battery wiring setup ? Really interested in that one ! Thanks.
great to see your video how about some customer service when I spend $100s at your store? I have 3 outstanding help tickets you simply ignore great job
I'm new to planes (long time FPV quads) and I'm building a Shining and you suggested the R84 so I got it but it only has 12 pins so I ASUME the power needs to me soldered on the 3 pads I see. However no one on the internet mentions this or can I find a picture to determine what pad is what. HELP seriously this is stupid that I can't find this information. Why are RC hobbies so complicated. Also you don't mention how to power it in the video either, you just slide right past that part.
I have purchased an "Admiral RX600SP 6-Channel DSMX Compatible Receiver with Stability Plus Gyro" but I am not sure if it is compatible with my radio "TX16S"? Could you help me, please?
Can you please give the guys out here the hole package of how to use your system, everyone goes into the radio setup there are guys out here that have no idea what your talking about, where do you plug in the power supply to the receiver. There are hundreds of aspect of flying R/C why lipo and not NI what should I do for increased security so my plane doesn’t crash because of being shot down from interference or long rang fade, I could go on with a hundred more the real green guys starting out have no idea what they should do or the type of equipment they need to buy. Radio master TX is a complicated peace of electronic and for someone starting with that radio is going to be lost or lose a airplane. I do appreciate all of you out there trying to help so keep on doing it but please go back to basic’s at times so the rest out there can catch up with the rest of the world. Thank you guys , keep your wings level.
Hey Guys, I have the Radiomaster TX16s radio with the R86 & R88 receivers. In four different planes and they all keep telling me RSSI LOW a lot so I did the "fine tuning" and it has reduced the amount of times it telling me that RSSI LOW to once our twice a flight. any ideas of what to try I have not found any thing to tell me the proper placement of the antennas. I have been installing one straight back from the receiver and the other at 90 degrees of the other. could this be my problem Thanks
hi, i have a problem with this receiver. i have a frsky q x7 radio. the binding was successfully and the communication was working, but everytime the radio or receiver forget each other after a day from binding. so i have to rebind always when i want to use the receiver. anybody can why? can somebody help what can i do to radio never forget after binding? thanks a lot!
Hey Guys, I have r88, r86c and r84 and all are rubbish, bc when using rssi it lacks range. After 25 m on r84 and 50m on r88 u get instable connection... I did multiple frequency tunes and its worth s***. Updating Zorro tx to newest version didnt help neither. Strangly turning off telemetrie the range is fine - at least 1km. But than u dont get any battery voltage nor signal quality :-( Be aware of these products...
Guys. I have R88 with SBUS connection to FC and I use TX16. I want to add 2 servos for cam movement with Skyzone gougles. Where do I plug those servos (If my 8 chanels are taken by flight control)?

"Sticker is upside down", I didn't even think to check, I thought my R88 wasn't working. Thank you for saving the day 😊👍

Nice! Hoping they release a D16 stabilized receiver soon.

Don't forget to mention how nice the R84 could be for gliders. Receiver voltage would be nice when using a single cell lipo or NiMH pack.
Good point!!
My 88 Rx does send Telemetry of RSSI without OSD / extra sensor. My Radioking Tx18s receives it.

O read in one forum that amplified antennas reduces the speed or the signal is that right?
I have 2 r88 with the tx16s and I can't get any range with them and I think I'll be moving on from them.
is the pocket good for planes as well and can I use it with the elrs?
its funny ..but can you bind radio master r88 with radio master pocket???
Great video! Do you happen to know if any of these recievers accept a frsky vario sensor for sail planes?

Please share a video of setting up RSSI and battery voltage in the radiomaster radio - thanks!
make a range check video on R168
I would like to see a range check on these receivers.
So the R series is only compatible with Radiomaster and D series are accst or Frsky compatible?
What receivers do you carry in the 6 Cell more than 8 Channels?
Any GYRO receivers?
Can I hook up servos to control rudder for the R84? I'm very new to the hobby so any help is appriciated.

@@graysonhobby I know, at first I thought it was some sort of video glitch....LOL...
Would you advise the R168 for a nitro helicopter ?
None of us here fly nitro helis.. so I cannot give you answer..sorry
great to see your video
how about some customer service when I spend $100s at your store?

great job
I watched with interest to see what plugs were used for `R84' but not seen oh well maybe next time..
Universal Servo Plugs - not much else we can say about that... lol
@@graysonhobby never heard of universal before is that a Chinese make?
Standard plug
Same ones they just lay on their side instead of vertical.
Is it possible to bind 2 r88s simultaneously to a TX to have 16 channels?
is this bindable with the taranis xQ7??
Should be bindable with older Q X7, that use ACSST protocol
I bought 2 R88 for my qx7
they loose their bind and are worthless
What would you advice for drones? For Radiomaster tx12

Will these receivers handle noise from gas engines for large scale?
Does R84 support receiver voltage (A2) telemetry for opentx? I'm getting mixed results from various sources.
What is the difference EU and US version
did the r86 as telemetry ?
And What Transmitters do these work with?? Spektrum? Futaba? What?
Any radio that uses d8 or d16...radiomaster, jumper. Frsky are a few popular examples
Woot! Those look great!
Do you guys think the R84 would work in ground pounders?
You mean cars and trucks?
I have purchased an "Admiral RX600SP 6-Channel DSMX Compatible Receiver with Stability Plus Gyro" but I am not sure if it is compatible with my radio "TX16S"? Could you help me, please?
thats the exact same receiver with a different sticker.
Can i use the r88 with my tx12 mk II
absolutely! If the tx12 is 4-1 :)
