Yes. We are seriously scraping. I love her drugstore reviews. I just finally spent $10 on a great formula matte lipstick from NYX recently, after like 5 years not purchasing a real lipstick worth the money. (I do spend more on haircare though, but that's got to stop.)

They receive products free and write off the rest as a business expense. If you can't see it as entertainment that is informative, then start watching *Project Pan* youtubers, it will change your relatioship with consumerism and valuing what you have and making a concerted efforts to use them up and not waste them. More isn't better. Corporations WANT you to feel like you have to buy, buy, buy. Don't believe the hype. No one knows if you're wearing Dior or Drugstore. Learn technique and what works well for you and stick with it.
I came looking for a comment like this. I am currently not watching hardly any of my subscriptions because I can't afford to spend frivolously and I will want stuff if I watch hauls and try ons. I think a lot of influencers don’t feel relatable at the moment and I don’t even know if that’s gonna change. I used to have so much makeup, it was insane but after the pandemic my focus shifted from hoarding products and buying everything to simplicity and being high maintenance to be low maintenance. I threw away so much expired stuff that I realized I only bought because of an influencer recommendation. Furthermore, we’re all struggling out here. Most of us just don’t have the means to spare on makeup and gadgets and all I see is “support me and my lavish lifestyle” but what do we get back? Less money in our pockets? It just doesn’t make sense anymore.
I totally agree. The notifications I get are random and there are people I follow and I haven’t seen videos pop up on my recommendations in a long time.
I agree wholeheartedly with you the influencers get so much for free and us regular people hardly or rarely get a discount and it's not fair. Most channels now seem to be infomercials since most of these influencers are living off the income their channels are bringing in.

They ask us for our “support” when a lot of people are living paycheck to paycheck. Our “support” means spending our money so they can live in luxury and there’s no return. This changed my life!” I have a handful of people that i still watch bc they still have good conversations or are funny/relaxing to watch after working all day. For most of us here in the US, the economy has truly become an issue. Buying one product a month might be out of reach. Many people are unable to pay their mortgage/rent, let alone spend hundreds at Sephora weekly (on top of the excessive PR , which they always find a way to complain about) …. Most of them just can’t read the room. Hope this answer helps. It’s not ALL of them, but it’s the majority.
Saying this as a long time fan. I think your views are declining because you left your audience stranded for over a year and forced them to move on. Then you created a Tati list website, using your Tati Beauty Palette photoshoot on the homepage, which made everyone (including myself) think they were signing up for a brand relaunch announcement. But instead, you text us and beg us to go watch your videos. It feels unauthentic. The reason why UA-cam doesn’t send as many notifications as you would like is because every UA-camr told their audience to “hit the notification bell” and now we have done that to 100+ creators. UA-cam cannot send out 40+ notifications a day to one person because they will delete their app or turn off their notifications because it’s too much.

Exactly what I feel. We get it why she needed a break, but she kind off ended a relationship with us, now she is like the ex that wants to come back, and we moved on. I remember entering to UA-cam only to check if she got back😢. Plus the beauty/make up videos are not very popular right now.

I've got my notifications on and you're one of my favorites to watch, but I'm NOT getting the notifications from UA-cam!!!! I don't know why, but it's NOT just the makeup that I'm not being notified about, but also several others that I follow. I go to my notifications page and very few notifications of people who I follow are coming up and I don't know why or how to fix it!!!?????
Wish you the very best in upcoming trial. The “take a bath” advice is on the nose. I was severely depressed and in hospital and an old nurse came to talk to me. She TOLD me I was going to take a bath and took me down the hall where there were tubs(only showers in the room). She said I was to stay in 30mins up to an hr. She promised me I’d feel better being clean and taken care of. After my bath she made me put on lotion, basic hygiene stuff, and fresh pjs. She brought me a hairdryer. Then she sat and we painted toenails together and played cards. I later found out she was staying off the clock. She saw me. I’m crying now remembering. We talked like old friends. At the time I was 23(?) and she was probably 50-60. It was the first time I felt like a person in months. ❤
This is such a sweet story and it’s a shame this kind of thing isn’t encouraged in nursing anymore. Every patient gets 10 mins and that’s at max, more time is spent on documentation than human interaction. That’s why I left the field after many years. I loved to do things like this. I think there are an overwhelming amount of beauty brands and products that are touted by influencers to be bigger, better,best! They turn out not to be! Also, it's become difficult to trust many influencers because they accept sponsorships and make so much money from mentioning products. I think people have caught on and stopped watching and buying.
I hate short form beauty content 😢 I remember being so relieved when Tati was anti-TT, lol. I appreciate being told about the alert! I never have time right then to watch, so I immediately add to my "watch later" list. Now I know what to do 🦋
I doubt I will ever sign up to tik Tok as well. I prefer UA-cam, I do not get notifications on my phone, but regularly scroll through my subscriptions, and Tati is usually there since I started watching more of her since her come back.

Life is hard. I have NEVER struggled so badly financially in my entire life, and I’m in the medical field. Things are just so expensive and I think I can speak for most people that it feels like we’re all drowning. I’ve always been able to pay my bills, and I’m at the point where I have to push things back until my next pay check. Things need to change 👏🏻

TBH, I turned off my UA-cam, and other social media, notifications simply because it drains battery life and gets annoying. I watch videos after I get off work. What you need are people commenting on your video, like Robert Welsh says, “If you don’t know what to say, comment algorithm.”

I appreciate your honesty about sponsorships and ads! I do feel like way too many others on YT (not you) function like online shopping hosts, pushing products they don’t really even use or like. I love that you use the products vs showing inserts, are honest about what works and doesn’t for you. I’ve vastly edited down the # of people I watch and I hide videos that are basically 40 min ads for Sephora, Amazon, etc.
I appreciate the explanation of how clicking notifications truly helps, I was not aware just how important it is. I would see it pop up, and search it later. I am really loving the Tati List! Here's a tip for people who have full time jobs and a family. I love watching UA-cam but I don't have time to watch as soon it goes live. Once a day I'll go to my UA-cam app click subscriptions, see videos I want to watch click the 3 dots and add to watch later. Or I create Playlist for doing chores. Then on my day off or down time I'll go back click on the Playlist to watch. I do that so I don't miss videos on my fav youtubers. Hope that helps...
I do this all the time, lol. I have so many playlists of things. Sometimes things sit waiting to be watched longer than I care to admit lol. A lot of my watching happens while getting ready for work in the morning, folding laundry, doing dishes etc.

I would love vlogs and wellness centered content. Society has kind of shifted more towards natural beauty and minimal makeup. I haven't personally used highlighter or bronzer in about two years. I love a dewy, natural makeup look. Learning the best products that could create a beautiful natural look and make it long lasting would be AMAZING.
I watch UA-cam video way more than Tik Tok - I like the longer videos and it's great to have on to watch/listen to while I'm working. While I don’t like short form video, I like how direct and to the point they are. I don’t want silly animations, dramatic zooms, and overly talkative videos. Ive been ur audience for YEARS n i bought so much that u recommend. But now im 26 and I basically have everything that I would ever need to for make up. So I dont watch as much make up content except for shorts and your videos. But idk abt everyone else. Not only are things gettinf more expensive but I dont impulse buy things anymore bc I have what I need

My love for skincare and makeup is just as strong as it was when I was in my 20’s. I realized self care is important at all ages. 💗
I'm not doing good at all. The transmission on my husband's car is out. It's under recall for the bushing now they say the torque converter needs to be redone so complete rebuild we can't afford that. Trying to refinance my house to pay off the cars now I have to do repairs on my house that I can't afford to get the loan. I'm already so drained mentally. Can you take a loan from your 401k? That might be an option if your employer allows it. Many do. You get taxed 20% since you're not of retirement age when you make a withdrawal and get 10% back when you file your taxes. The other 10% you owe as a penalty. There's no approval process since it's your money, so yeah. I would look into that if you need another solution. You just have to make sure that you're withholding enough taxes if the amount you take out is substantial and when added to your gross wages, bumps you into the next tax bracket. If that's the case, adjust your W4 to withhold additional taxes so you don't end up owing when you file. Good luck.

Would love to see you taking us out and about with you during your day, vlogs, taking us to the department stores when you go shopping for makeup, food, etc. I also love when you touch on stories from your past, like how it was coming up on your journey, coming from little and striving to where you are now. You would touch on these stories a tiny bit iin some videos and I loved when you did, but then you don't share that side of your journey that much (which I understand).

The reason why UA-cam doesn’t send as many notifications as you would like is because every UA-camr told their audience to “hit the notification bell” and now we have done that to 100+ creators. UA-cam cannot send out 40+ notifications a day to one person because they will delete their app or turn off their notifications because it’s too much.

Exactly what I feel. We get it why she needed a break, but she kind off ended a relationship with us, now she is like the ex that wants to come back, and we moved on. I remember entering to UA-cam only to check if she got back😢. Plus the beauty/make up videos are not very popular right now.

I've got my notifications on and you're one of my favorites to watch, but I'm NOT getting the notifications from UA-cam!!!! I don't know why, but it's NOT just the makeup that I'm not being notified about, but also several others that I follow. I go to my notifications page and very few notifications of people who I follow are coming up and I don't know why or how to fix it!!!?????

Wish you the very best in upcoming trial. The “take a bath” advice is on the nose. I was severely depressed and in hospital and an old nurse came to talk to me. She TOLD me I was going to take a bath and took me down the hall where there were tubs(only showers in the room). She said I was to stay in 30mins up to an hr. She promised me I’d feel better being clean and taken care of.
After my bath she made me put on lotion, basic hygiene stuff, and fresh pjs. She brought me a hairdryer. Then she sat and we painted toenails together and played cards. I later found out she was staying off the clock. She saw me. I’m crying now remembering. We talked like old friends. At the time I was 23(?) and she was probably 50-60. It was the first time I felt like a person in months. ❤

This is such a sweet story and it’s a shame this kind of thing isn’t encouraged in nursing anymore. Every patient gets 10 mins and that’s at max, more time is spent on documentation than human interaction. That’s why I left the field after many years. I loved to do things like this. I think there are an overwhelming amount of beauty brands and products that are touted by influencers to be bigger, better,best! They turn out not to be! Also, it's become difficult to trust many influencers because they accept sponsorships and make so much money from mentioning products. I think people have caught on and stopped watching and buying.

Life is hard. I have NEVER struggled so badly financially in my entire life, and I’m in the medical field. Things are just so expensive and I think I can speak for most people that it feels like we’re all drowning. I’ve always been able to pay my bills, and I’m at the point where I have to push things back until my next pay check. Things need to change 👏🏻

I’ve started watching make up videos when I was pregnant with my twin boys. I subscribed to many beauty channels. That was 8 years ago and you are the only one I still watch. Please don’t leave. TBH, I turned off my UA-cam, and other social media, notifications simply because it drains battery life and gets annoying. I watch videos after I get off work. What you need are people commenting on your video, like Robert Welsh says, “If you don’t know what to say, comment algorithm.”

I appreciate your honesty about sponsorships and ads! I do feel like way too many others on YT (not you) function like online shopping hosts, pushing products they don’t really even use or like. I love that you use the products vs showing inserts, are honest about what works and doesn’t for you. I’ve vastly edited down the # of people I watch and I hide videos that are basically 40 min ads for Sephora, Amazon, etc.
I appreciate the explanation of how clicking notifications truly helps, I was not aware just how important it is. I would see it pop up, and search it later. I am really loving the Tati List! Here's a tip for people who have full time jobs and a family. I love watching UA-cam but I don't have time to watch as soon it goes live. Once a day I'll go to my UA-cam app click subscriptions, see videos I want to watch click the 3 dots and add to watch later. Or I create Playlist for doing chores. Then on my day off or down time I'll go back click on the Playlist to watch. I do that so I don't miss videos on my fav youtubers. Hope that helps...
I do this all the time, lol. I have so many playlists of things. Sometimes things sit waiting to be watched longer than I care to admit lol. A lot of my watching happens while getting ready for work in the morning, folding laundry, doing dishes etc.

I would love vlogs and wellness centered content. Society has kind of shifted more towards natural beauty and minimal makeup. I haven't personally used highlighter or bronzer in about two years. I love a dewy, natural makeup look. Learning the best products that could create a beautiful natural look and make it long lasting would be AMAZING.

While I don’t like short form video, I like how direct and to the point they are. I don’t want silly animations, dramatic zooms, and overly talkative videos. I want to see makeup, apply makeup, and talk about makeup. I may be the rare one in the comments that feels this way but I click for makeup and skincare, and that’s not what I’m getting. 🤷🏽♀️

I'm not doing good at all. The transmission on my husband's car is out. It's under recall for the bushing now they say the torque converter needs to be redone so complete rebuild we can't afford that. Trying to refinance my house to pay off the cars now I have to do repairs on my house that I can't afford to get the loan. I'm already so drained mentally. Can you take a loan from your 401k? That might be an option if your employer allows it. Many do. You get taxed 20% since you're not of retirement age when you make a withdrawal and get 10% back when you file your taxes. The other 10% you owe as a penalty. There's no approval process since it's your money, so yeah. I would look into that if you need another solution. You just have to make sure that you're withholding enough taxes if the amount you take out is substantial and when added to your gross wages, bumps you into the next tax bracket. If that's the case, adjust your W4 to withhold additional taxes so you don't end up owing when you file. Good luck.

The ridiculous price of some makeup is what is destroying utube views. Most people don’t have a large budget for makeup. Especially in California.

Would love to see you taking us out and about with you during your day, vlogs, taking us to the department stores when you go shopping for makeup, food, etc. I also love when you touch on stories from your past, like how it was coming up on your journey, coming from little and striving to where you are now.
You would touch on these stories a tiny bit iin some videos and I loved when you did, but then you don't share that side of your journey that much (which I understand).
I try to watch every video! And sometimes when i am cleaning i will put one of yours on in the background again and let it play thru fully just in case that helps boost in any way.
