Good day, My company has somehow been registered for PAYE twice and it has two PAYE numbers appearing on efiling. How do i remove the other one coz i am only using one and the other one is now non complian i cant eve file zero's on it
Hi Nomvula, Wow that is frustrating, I have never heard of this before. I suggest you speak to the SARS call center and take advice for them as how to go about removing the second number. You most likely would have to go into the branch. Sorry I could not be of more help.
Hi Khulekani Your question is a theoretical one as SARS is aware that there comes a point if the taxes are too high people will stop being compliant and everyone looses.
SARS must follow very specific procedures to collect money, but I have never heard of them deducting from UIF before. Did they deduct moony from your UIF payout?
No, but I did receive an auto assessment statement so I did understand but I did ask someone to explain to me turns out I don't owe them, they don't owe me either.
Gr8 info, many thanks. I am registered for UIF, does this mean I am also registered for PAYE? Also, my company only gets odd jobs for now, I don't have registered employees only get people (different) when I have a job. This does not happen every month. Do I need to declare this income?
Hi Zakhele, Yes all income needs to be declared to SARS, but remember you only pay company tax on net profit meaning you first deduct all your expenses and you only pay company tax on what is left over. I have made a detailed video on this topic ua-cam.com/video/8pTbp7y314I/v-deo.html Regarding the PAYE it is a separate registration and you only have to register your employees if they work for you for more than 24 hours a month. However you still need to register yourself for PAYE. Should you need any help with this please contact our office on 021-5954433
This was awesome. Well explained keep it up
Glad you liked it!

What happened if the deduction for PEYE keep on increasing?

What happens if my company is not registered for paye?
Hi Oleg, this is not a problem. You only have to register for PAYE within 21 days after you employed your first employee.
503 error.
I am assuming you are referring to the SAR website?
Thank you guys
You are welcome
Great information thank you 😊
Glad it was helpful!
Can an accounting business register on behalf of their clients?
Hi Sharon, definitely you must be a registered tax practitioner.
Is it possible that SARS deduct money from my UIF money?
