Great video my friend. I see this exact mistake at conventions all the time, it will be listed as complete but it will be missing the poster. Plus that awesome artwork and the vibrant colors on that poster makes it a must have!

I think most people don't know either. Always appreciate the support. :)

PaRappa The Rapper is my favorite PlayStation series! I actually played PaRappa 2 first (over a decade ago), then Um Jammer Lammy, and then PaRappa 1. I own some external merchandise too: a Japanese comic book set, a PaRappa display figure, the Japanese PaRappa 2 guidebook, some Japanese soundtrack CDs, and even an actual PaRappa beanie.
PaRappa The Rapper 2 is my favorite game in the franchise, but the original is a timeless classic for sure.

I think for many, the first game they play in a series usually ends up being their favorite. It's the one they often have the most nostalgia for because they played it first.
Most people consider PaRappa the best. Um Jammer Lammy is great also but the story is kinda out there LOL.

@@GoodVibeCollecting Um Jammer Lammy is such a unique game for its charming weirdness. Ironically it actually has the most amount of content in the PaRappa franchise! Being able to play as PaRappa himself after clearing the game as Lammy is a very cool reward.

@@kingpikmin13 I also think Lammy has the better personality between the two as well. Now I'm curious how you discovered the PaRappa franchise. Was it a demo disc? What do you think or other NanaOn-Sha games like Vib Ribbon?

@@GoodVibeCollecting I was introduced to the PaRappa franchise as a child through my big brother, who owned PaRappa The Rapper 2 (he was introduced to it via the demo included on Jampack Summer 2002). This was during the early 2000s.
My big brother’s copy of PaRappa 2 would end up vanishing sometime later, and I never played PaRappa 2 myself until the 2011 holiday season. From there it was the only PaRappa game I had until 2020 when a friend gave me Um Jammer Lammy as a Christmas gift, and I bought PaRappa 1 the following month in January 2021.
I am aware of other Nana-On-Sha games, but have never played them.

@@kingpikmin13 Demo discs really helped determine if a game was worth buying back then and I kind of miss them. Demos still exist today but it's just a locked version of the full game. Demos discs like Jampack gave you more variety and you could just play them over and over again.

Very interesting! That's definitely a different way to go by putting the instructions on the poster itself.

Probably cheaper to. From a different era when companies could afford to be creative.

I know right? I really miss the days when companies could afford to be creative with their games and packaging. There is actually another PS1 game that has the same type of poster/instruction manual insert, but I'll save that for a future video. :)
