Hi Bishara, the 1 represents 100% of the Rate. The Markup is then added to this. So the equation is Rate = 1 + % Markup = Sales Value. :-)

5:56 formula is not working for me🤷🏽‍♀️💁🏽‍♀️when I do it its says #name🤷🏽‍♀️ the only formula that is working is =E6*G6 but that still doesn't give me 17.50🤷🏽‍♀️

I had the same problem and I find the solution. The problem is that the cell G6 is with the Hour format, NOT Number format. Right-click on the G6 cell and change the format from Custom to Number Format and you all set

The sum of "SaleValue" and of "Contribution" dont add up. Its $155.94 & $64.69 on the right table then 134.06 $ 55.31 on the left table
