  • Detroit Speed has engineered a brand new, not rebuilt, steering box for the the 1968-'91 GM C and R series trucks. This box provides the performance and feel you would expect from a late model performance car through "Detroit Tuned" rack and pinion valve technology, low-friction gear design, and 12.7:1 quick ratio gearing. This new power steering box is lighter than the factory steering box and allows the use of your original power steering pitman arm.

Great product. Like the fact that it's a new box (not refurbished) and lighter. Have to ask what wheels are those? Size and brand. That's the look I'm going for.

Is there a way of adapting this steering box to a 1965 C10? I know other companies make adapter plates. Interested if possible.

We currently do not have a timeline for releasing a steering gear box for the GMT400 platform, but that could always change in the future.
