Sans avoir les moyens du rôle, P. Ciofi est excellente, sachant parfaitement comment chanter et faire vivre cette musique, avec les couleurs et l'émotion nécessaires.
The overture was not part of Donizetti's original version and was only added for the La Scala premiere because that opera house required an overture as part of the contract with the composer.
