A dream come true for a girl who has always loved old MGM musicals, to dance on the Paramount stage with Michael Rooney as the choreographer was as close as I will ever get to going back in time. I also love every one of these guys. Truly sweethearts, every one.

-Pontius had cuts from the fire hoses pressure -Preston and wee-man had major concussions - Bam and Dunn get yanked off by the horses, which actually almost killed dunn - And Knoxville got smacked by the barn door Prop because he moved when it feel.
This was the crew at their most fucked mentally lmao, no fucks we’re given and they did not care about their wellbeing. Thankfully, they’re still around and healthier, apart from Ryan of course ❤

I actually believe the saloon falling on him wasn't planned at first. There's a blooper that shows Knoxville and the crew freaking out when it started to fall on him, they probably reshot later to make it seem as part of the bit.

Yeah, there was a very good article in the Guardian the other week when the fourth movie came out talking about how - despite all the moral handwringing when they first turned up - all Jackass is is just an extension/development of longstanding comedy stuff. There's a direct line from Buster Keaton to Johnny Knoxville, perfectly exemplified by the 'house' halling at the end here, the only difference with Jackass is that the guys showed us the stuff that didn't work, too.
I still remember watching this shit after school with my friends in a packed theater the day it came out. I can still feel the tinge of pain in my stomach knowing we were at the end of the movie. My cheeks never hurt as much as they did laughing at this movie. Truly great times
Fun fact: the ending scene was actually filmed at the Paramount studio lot (the same company that own Jackass) and the last scene of the clip, where Johnny was standing behind the falling house prop, has taken shots numerous times (yes, his back was injured) before they finally got the right one.

This Sequel is right up there with Empire Strikes Back, the Dark Knight, Godfather II, Scary Movie 2, Spiderman 2, and Breakin 2: Electric Boogaloo. My favorite in the series, and what a fucking incredible ending.
This ending is funny but it’s really scary. Especially the part where the horse pulls Bam and Ryan off screen. Ryan actually landed really hard that he injured his shoulder and he got a severe blood clot. Very frightening.
They were part of the life of millions. Both adults and kids who were either taught or remembered that living and having fun is a blessing. I love you all, and I know we will be happy
It basically did. He was injured as a result and went to the hospital. The constant pain was why he started to heavily drink, leading to the crash which killed him.
Something some people might not know is that when Steve-O comes out of the water on the hoop. That shot is in reverse. Just look at the sparklers & water. Still one of my favourate endings to a movie to this day.
This is my favorite jackass movie and one of my favorite movies ever and this just exemplifies the height of it. Only people around and old enough can honeslty feel the impact of how nuts and entertaining jackass was. There is star wars in 77 , the 80s brat pack and scifi era, the 90s special effects and grandiose era, the enterance of marvel, elevated horror in the 2010s , but this, 2001 from the start and jackass 4 recently is like a beautiful time capsule of "if you know you know" absurdity. This is in there with south park , the beginning of youtube and memes, and pop culture as we know it today. What a time to be alive. Thank you jackass

I miss the old Bam. I know he probably wasn't sober at this time either, but it really hurts and sucks to see what he's doing to himself now. He doesn't think he's the problem either. He doesn't think there's anything wrong with him and that it's everybody else attacking him. He knows what he's doing but won't admit to it. I hope someday he'll finally snap out of it before it's too late for him. Life will only give you so many chances to fix a problem before the permanence of death decides there's no more fixing anything. :c

I was crazy skeptical about the Jackass endeavors but the heart, personalities, and camaderie is a winning combination.
Never been anything like them before or since.

OMG! From IMDB's "Trivia" section about this film, filming this finale production number had really quite serious, if NOT sad and sobering consequences. It reads: "During the grand finale, when Bam Margera and Ryan Dunn are yanked off their feet by a running horse, Dunn suffered an injured shoulder that eventually developed a blood clot. Due to the clot's proximity to Dunn's heart and brain, it became life-threatening and required extensive treatment to keep under control. Soon afterwards, Dunn contracted Lyme disease. These two hazardous conditions caused him to spiral into a deep depression that lasted about a year, during which time he cut off all contact with his friends and eschewed the attention of fans." What will stop these guys? But hey, it was a fun number!!
