That King George II coin. Made over here in England right back in the 1750's went through many British hands, travelled 3000 miles across the Atlantic to British America, went through many American hands, fell into the earth where it slept and WAITED for these lads to find it in 2021.Amazing.

But today the "thing" is dug relics, toys, the nastier condition...the better. We now have the giant "restoration" movement. One can find many videos online. Love watching your videos. Great finds! Wish I lived around you guys. I have a Legend I haven't used yet. No car, and nowhere to go around here in Bayonne, NJ.
I love you guys! It is not just the vids, the finds, the laughter, the camaraderie but how respectful you are. Some would detect in a cemetery. Thank you for stating “it is sacred ground” and not showing the names! You are a class act!
I grew up near a house built around 1730’s,it had a small burial spot with a grave of a Revolutionary Soldier killed in the war. Fascinated me and wish I knew more about him…..Made our early history very present..
The “spectacles” find was so cool. There’s something so fascinating about finding relics from the past at the same sight which they were lost. Like a small connection to the people who came before us. Reminding us they were not so different. Well done 👍
Yes, everytime I find a old relic or coin I wonder who was the last one to touch that thing before I touched it. Sometimes I get carried away and wonder what they looked like, when they were born and when they died.
Yes I live on an historic revolutionary gravesite property on the lower eastern shore of VA with 2 colonels of the revolution and some of their family. Have found some George’s. The property has an old wharf loaded in the creek depths of ballast stones from England
I live 400 ft from William Floyd . Declaration of Independence signer. On Long Island. I would LOVE to hit his land. Even next to it. They’re very strict with it.
Yeah just think someone maybe had those glasses folded up and in his shirt or coat pocket got off of his horse and the glasses fell out, while he or she was visiting the cemetery . Maybe brought their glasses along just so they could read the tombstones...
The gravestone of the Revolutionary War soldier written in German was amazing! When I was about 11 or 12 I found a very old tombstone that was cracked in half and very weathered that was written in German and from the late 1700's. I believe it said that the German couple buried there were royalty of some kind, because I saw the word "Herzog" before their names which translates to duke and their surname was prefixed with "Von". I went back years later when I was a teenager and had a year of German under my belt, but I could not find the tombstone anywhere! I was so disappointed and it still bothers me to this very day that the German couple buried there are now lost to history. I've tried researching the little cemetery in the local small town library but could find absolutely ZERO information.
I love the old American coins. Congrats on the Half cent. The spectacles are sweet too. I once found a piece of scissors from the 1700's. Love the colonial relics. Thanks for another great video! John
Intriguing video with the history of that place. The half spectacle was an incredible find. Too bad the other half wasnt laying around. Great hunt as usual.

One of the things I really like the most about you Mr. Quarter Hoarder is your enthusiasm and the way you always give the guys that are with you nice compliments and you never make them feel less knowledgeable than yourself. And one more final thing and this one is very important to me…..You and your friends are very respectful of all properties whether you’re out in the middle of an abandoned field or digging in someone’s yard who has given you permission to see what treasures you might uncover. And it’s so nice not to be concerned if my grandkids come into the room when your show is on. You never curse or take our Lords name in vain. That means so much to me that they can watch decent fun loving kind men on UA-cam and really enjoy themselves at 12-15 years old. I’ve had to stop watching many UA-cam programs because of the disgusting language and the pathetic girlfriends and wives that hang around the cameras half dressed with their boobs and butts hanging out. They have no shame and no sense of right and wrong. So there now you’ve heard my biggest UA-cam gripes. Again thank you for your goodness and may God bless you and yours. Merry Christmas.🎄✝️♥️
Whenever I dig at parks or on folks lawns (with permission of course), I always bring a 3' sq. piece of canvas to put the dirt on to keep things neat after the refill. I've found some interesting things over the years. The best was at Will Rogers state beach, in LA, Found a HUGE man's 18K "nugget" ring that's 1.35 oz! (No name or other info in or on it to try to track down the owner). A few weeks later I was there and saw these women in a panic near the waters edge. I inquired if everything was OK and one of them said her sister had come for a visit from Saudi Arabia and had lost her engagement ring in the sand. She asked if I could help and I found it in about 5 min. with my trusty old Compass X-100. They offered to give me a LARGE reward for finding it, but I just said have a nice day ladies and wished them well. (That solitaire had to be 4 or 5 carets, must have cost a fortune.)
