- These are simple and easy leg stretches for runners and cyclists, perfect post workout stretch routine. These stretches will be great for beginners and those people whose hamstrings, hips and calves are tight.
For these leg stretches you will need a little wall space, a strap (that can easily be replaced by a towel or scarf) and might be a blanket and blocks (books).
I encourage you to take it slow and be mindful of every movement and every stretch that you create. Flexibility might take time so we need to be patient and consistent. You will notice that as we stretch we begin to let go of unnecessary tension and thoughts, worries and fear.
Remember that consistency will inevitably bring results. Therefore try to stretch on a daily basis after your strength or cardio workout routine to see some progress.
Throughout this practice I will keep reminding you to find connection to your breathing. Try not to neglect it as it plays a huge role for your flexibility. It allows you to be present and aware. It reveals tension and resistance. It allows to surrender and let go.
Get comfy, get ready, listen to your own body and be patient.
