The religion was not founded by Muhammad, but his family after his death. He only came along some 500 years or so after the advent of Christ, enabling lots of plagiarism, like the angel he spoke to, Gabriel, called Gibreel.
Gabriel, is the angel who told Mary she is to be pregnant with the son of God. Imagine that. The same angel who told Mary one thing and Muhammad another? He met Jesus in heaven? That means he didn't meet a prophet,as no man hath ascended to heaven. And Issac was put up for sacrifice, not Ishmael. Put that in your idahladha, and smoke it.
Islam, a basterd religion yesterday, today, and always. Such nice folks too, what with constant jihad, rape culture, and all.

Am I correct in understanding that you mean, the constant jihad, and rape culture is justified or excused because another religion is bad too?? I see this deflection technique used in politics quite often. One group calls out another group's leader or higher-up on some bad behavior. Then, rather than owning the situation, they say something along the lines of "Oh yeah?? Well YOUR guy blah blah blah..." as if deflecting the accusation makes the bad behavior of their guy acceptable because someone from the other side is just as bad. You see it a lot in schoolyard behavior too. In this case... Christians are/were bad, so the jihad and rape culture is not up for discussion.

But I can tell you this with certainty tho, that in countries where Christianity are minority, like Bangladesh, Egypt, Indonesia, India, there are laws in place that if someone insults a religion like Christianity, they are punished accordingly. These laws are mostly in place to ensure 'religious harmony' and minimise potential inter-faith violence.

Well it depends on where you are. I remember Sinead O'Connor being unable to appear anywhere after tearing up a picture of the Pope on television. This is before my time, but I think most people didn't know what she was talking about (the Catholic pedophilia scandal has been a public issue in Ireland for much longer than in the US.) Also, before and during the Lebanese civil war, Christian militias would attach non-Christians to power lines. But true, in this day and age, it's probably the religion which has the least consequences for criticizing it. But for most history since its founding, it was the most dangerous of the Abrahamic religions to criticize.
It's funny how history works. What you're saying is true, but it doesn't tell you much about the religion, but about where the tensions are. Religions get really touchy under two sets of circumstances: when they're a persecuted minority, or where they're in total control. It's why at the moment criticizing Islam is a briar patch; because in so many parts of the world it's either one or the other. Bill Maher likes to make a similar argument to what you're making -- some Muslims react very badly when their religion is criticized while Christians may kill for other reasons, defamation of Christianity isn't one of them, so that's how you know there's something wrong with Islam. When periods of time where it was the exact opposite are pointed out to him, he goes "but that was like 100 years ago!", as if that was before the Quran 2.0 dropped, or something. No, same religions, just different circumstances everywhere else. Which should tell him it's not the religion influencing the society; it's the society influencing the religion. This is obvious if you've read the Quran, because it's constantly referring to Old Testament prophets. Noah, Moses, Jesus, Abraham, and Solomon are all people whose teachings you're supposed to follow. This, like everything else in the Quran, is repeated over and over and over again.
Anyway, I don't know if you know this, but just yesterday three Palestinian-Americans who were visiting their families for Thanksgiving were shot by a white assailant in Vermont: two will likely pull through, but one's got the bullet lodged in his spine. One of them went to Haverford, which pretty much profiles him, but all three of them looked like old money to me. But I doubt they were shot for being preppy.

@@shairafaiza7261 first off, I am not a girl. I am an American Indian man still living on the rez my family has lived on for many years. I'll have to check but I don't think anyone in our tribe has been out in the world destroying stuff. I did go on a family vacation to Disneyland and seen some great examples of these people they call "Woke" having tantrums. it was interesting to say the least. Had one "person" scream at me for calling her miss. Never saw them kill anyone though. I HAVE read about those Muslim guys losing it and killing people for saying things they don't like about their religion. So yeah, I stand by my comment. And I have been "corrected" by those woke people for referring to myself as American Indian. They generally say "Native American". Well they can kiss my butt. Some of us still call ourselves Indians with a capitol I, and we're damn proud of our heritage.

Al Jebra. Right, OK. I seem to have heard this somewhere else.
Now it's coming back to me. It's said to have been derived from a reference to a Hebrew era god named El Al Jebra, whose wife (Debra) promised the desert dwelling believers a beautiful Babbleonian Rose Garden at some point.
This "Jebra" method was said to have been used in relation to the ancient art of aroma-thematic perfumery, introduced by none other than Sheik Abu Cuz, the Sultan of Sling, and then Sum.

Easy to explain I slam. Moo ham med came 600 years after Jesus and was the exact opposite. He chose Al lah the ancient pagan arab moon god thereby ignoring the first commandment ofvthe Torah "thou shalt have no other gods before me". Seems like everything after Jesus is made up, scientology, wiccans, satanists, mormons, masons....but tax exempt....

@@HarisPeco-zx8cp I should have said "He chose AS HIS Allah the ancient moon god......". Allah is arab generic word for god. Not jehovah god who interacted with jews of old and new testament, therefore another god. He was barely aware of Torah, illiterate and eventually, after 200 years his uncles wrote a lot of moo ham meds rantings and mixed it with plagarized bits from Torah. And, yes, he was the exact opposite of Jesus.
