I brought two of these back from Afghanistan. One holds three AK mags and the other holds six AK mags. They're on display at the veterans museum in my hometown.
@Rokaize Yeah, they're hard to find but they exist. So it has 3 cells each holds two 30rd 7.62 magazines and the flaps close. The other one I brought back also has 3 cells but it holds one 7.62 mag in each pouch which is most commonly found.
@@ShaneT.0331 From my understanding, when the Soviets were in Afghanistan they often soaked them in water and stretched the cells in order to hold 2 mags each. Maybe that’s the kind you have
@Rokaize Nope, when you stretch a standard 3 cell to hold six and put 6 magazines in there you can't get the flaps to close. Because I've done it to a few rigs with boiling water and leaving the magazines in there for a couple days. Again the ones that were manufactured to hold six magazines from the factories are rare but they do exist.
@@ShaneT.0331maybe that rig was a soviet version? PoyasA is a russian chest rig with 3 double pouches for ak mags and 4 grenade pouches. Also had stripes for 2 reactive flare cartridge. Widely used by GRU in late of Afghan war. But it still could be a thing from local tailors
@@valgear5525 They're excellent. I was dissapointed I couldnt mount bayonets on my AMD 65. But now I can just have it on an SKS. Just as good. Keep up the good quality reviews.
I have to agree, it is a quick, cheap, reliable option. Yes there are better options out there, but you're obviously going to be spending more. Even a US Army FLC will cost you about $13-$20, but then you will need the molle mag pouches to add. But the FLC is much more comfortable and holds more stuff because of the molle. But now you're at about $50, and you might as well look at a plate carrier, and get yourself a plate if you can afford it
Preevyet Tovarische Val! Have you ever shot a Type 63? If so, do you have any opinions on accuracy/reliability compared to SKS, AK or other small arm? Spaseeba! Vanya in Texas

Wait, 6? I’ve never seen more than 4.

My choice of gun is whatever I am most framiliar with.
With an ACOG.
I recently got a Chinese SKS so I bought a bunch of surplus stuff for it. And this happens to be one of them (or atleast close.) Good review!
I love the chinese spike bayonets. May your rifle serve you well!

@3:05 haha nice. Sneaky gopnik park mission. Don't set fire to your lidl bag in the park. Leave no trace.

I have a Bosnian version that buckles in the front.
great video. i agree with you on know what the gear is for. as for me i need something cheap that can hold my mags at the range.
An important improvement to the Chicom was South Africa's Pattern 83
Where do I find the multicam Gorka? Awesome!
Hello, its custom gorka made for Ukrainian national guard SF regiment by company Tornado Kiev, thank you for support!
> Is it for you, or only for commies?!

Is that a modified Chicom rig or does a company make it? I like the snap closures, looks nice!
Hello, its completely custom build, but anybody who do custom gear should be able to make it for not a lot of money, thank you for support!
Can you do a review of the SSO or Avizant Smersh?
Great review. which gorka are you wearing btw?
