    I LOVE your style of coaching, it's so chill and laid back and honestly I love how you focused on just a few things and gave a lot of different explanations and examples on them during the game, like situational awareness and choosing when to fight, without overloading info or getting into too many different topics that so many coaches do. Keep this up! I would love to see more and hopefully even get a coaching session myself.

    This is so cool. Hearing the thought process of a grandmaster player is really interesting. I am no high elo player I've only reached plat, but I can see such a big difference between me, Imthecat and you. It's really cool.

    Please give me more of this Poly. You have a very different style that's far more about empowering people to use their strengths and be aware of their weaknesses than reaching objectively correct angles, that's very rare in coaching. Most coaching is about turning the game into a flowchart of decisions, you make it about the player. That's not a small distinction.

    Question for 15:15, I play alot of Zyra and if I get an idea that jungle is likely near I like to at least plop a plant in tri (on blue side) since its got a bit better range.
    If the idea of warding when you believe they arent there (Maybe its only if you are 100% positive like with echo on a ward?) is bad, and the idea of warding when you feel like theyre coming/near is bad/suicidal, what is good ward timing?
    Good video :D

    • @Wallace24121
      @Wallace24121 9 місяців тому

      Warding is like trying to predict the next minute.
      See league as a turn-based game, where each "turn" takes 30 seconds, it actually takes around 30 seconds to go from Mid to Bot, and for each jungle camp to be done (early game).
      So the question here is: IS ANYONE COMING HERE IN THE NEXT TURN (30 seconds) ???
      The answers may be:
      1 - YES, we know FOR SURE they are coming here, they may even be here right now!
      -- Then you don't need to ward. Actually advacing to ward is suicidal.
      2 - NO, and we know FOR SURE they are NOT coming here
      -- The jg may have been ganking top, mid is dead, they are herald, does not matter, they are not coming, so don't waste your wards timer YET.
      Which then leads to the question... OKAY, BUT AFTER DOING WHATEVER HECK THEY ARE DOING, WILL THEY COME HERE?
      1 - YES, they should come because you are trying to get an objective (turret, drag, bounty)
      -- Ward it! They are not here yet, but retreating too early is giving up objectives, so you want to look when they are coming so you retreat (or prepare to fight) and make them lose time.
      2 - NO, they are not coming here
      -- Okay, this should be a really rare option, but idk, enemy might be inting.... ABUSE THIS TEMPO, push lanes, look for objectives, make them question themselves "why the heck is that Zyra hiting our nexus at 14min and we're not contesting?!?!"
      -- Then they will come (look for previous answer)
      3 - MAYBE, I DON'T KNOW
      -- As a support, you should focus on the enemy position with the same intensity (if not higher) then your adc focus on CSing. "Can we harass enemy?", "What is their jungle doing?", "What is OUR jungle doing?", "What is the next spawning objective?"
      -- Sometimes you really don't know where the enemy jungle is, so look out for the next spawning objective and try to ward around main choke points (& reset before spawn). Try to keep track since very early so you can keep at least a 'feeling', for example, if the jg full clears he should gank at around 4m40, either top or bot, likely top if bot leashed, so their next position would be bot side (as his camps are respawning now)

      Ranked is worthless now. Before there was at least a reason to get gold cuz skins, but man, after the changes, playing ranked just sucks. For a long time I was a ranked-only player, but I'm really done nowadays.
      Also, if you get bored playing one champ, try jungle. Jungle is more about macro and pathing, and less about champ mechanics/limits and matchup knowledge. Your jungle champ pool could easily have 5+ champs and be perfectly okay for climbing.

    • @hayden6704
      @hayden6704 9 місяців тому
