That's a weird thing to say. I sew, so nails, resin art, make jewelry, train dogs, and I have a lot of other interests. Lol what an odd way to word that.
The video I was looking for…short and to the point but had wayyy more info that was needed then others whose videos who were 20 mins + long…thank you 🫶🏾
ay you have the outfit from the last video on i just realised after scrolling through your videos also, did you finish the leather puffy dress with the heart cutout at the end because the design was so cute and i am dying to see the finished product :)
the tips won’t adhere to the nail bed if there is color on the nail already. the tip has to be transparent in order for it to fully cure onto the nail!
I also wanted to learn nail art and nail extension and following my ISI interest, I did a nail extension course from Meri Bindiya International Academy and today I am working on the post of a good nail technician ❤❤❤❤
How long do you think gel x nails would last as an apprentice hairdresser? My main concern is having my hands constantly in water even though I’m only part time:)
Can you paint the extensions first, do all your designs, and *then* go to glue them onto your nails or would all the layers of gel affect the adhesion and not cure properly??
I’m curious - what’s the benefit of adding the first layer of the “nail glue” to the nail itself vs. applying straight to the tip then applying it from there to the nail? I have the same kit but never did it that way. 😅
Can u paint on them with regular nail polish without having the led light and just use normal nail glue? I am asking because I want to ask for those for chirstmas but I don't have lamp or a big lamp?
I must have some terrible tips because I got a gelX kit a couple months ago and prepped my nails really well and they would stay on for like a day and then one or two would pop off and I was left with a peeled white consistency on my nails of the gel and some would come off and the rest was stuck really well and I cured them like 3 times to make sure they were dry and still were messed up!
Ok so you did a good job and those look really cute, but those are not gel x tips or gel x adhesive gel. Gel X is a specific brand. Not a cheap one either.
I hope everyone who does this regularly uses a strong spf on their hands first, or the gloves you can buy that protect your skin (tips are cut off so you can cure nails). If you don’t protect your hands, you’ll end up with a lot of sun damage = age spots, later on.
Gel-x is becoming one of those brand names that turn into generic words like Kleenex, band aid and Tupperware lmao. I've had people ask what type of extensions I use and if i say gel tips they're like ????? until I say it's like gel-x
@@heartandseoul1299 ohhh I thought you were saying that I was incorrect in the sense that people don't do that. Yeah, you're right, it's incorrect that they generalize.
Wait you said it’s not nail glue it’s regular gel and then right after that you said I’m gonna take that same nail glue. so is it regular gel or nail glue I’m confused. Can you use clear gel nail polish as a nail glue
From my experience no, it depends what adhesive you use- personally I use builder gel and when they eventually come off they you just peel off the thin coat of that and your nail is completely undamaged and healthy underneath.

most creative and artistic people tend to be good at a lot of things like thid
I used to draw and now I learned to do nails and I’m going for my license soon ☺️
That's a weird thing to say. I sew, so nails, resin art, make jewelry, train dogs, and I have a lot of other interests. Lol what an odd way to word that.
Beautiful! Thank for the tutorial :)

The video I was looking for…short and to the point but had wayyy more info that was needed then others whose videos who were 20 mins + long…thank you 🫶🏾
Thank you for sharing 🙏🏼🤟
I use those exact same products! 😮
I love those nails! I bought the same ones off Amazon
Your so pretty!😊
Soft gel I’m trying for first time just ordered some last night
Beautiful ❤
Loved watching you. ❤️🥰💅🏻
Can you please make a video on how you remove your extensions?
I have those ones! I still use an e file to etch mine and now mine stay on forever!
How many weeks you have them on?😍
The close up nail filing, I do the same thing.😁....btw Lovely nails 💅..
ay you have the outfit from the last video on i just realised after scrolling through your videos

Cool
You should try poly gel nails 💅
Good luck And good job
Cute ❤
Good job
Too early for the Amazon link 😂
Here it is now! www.amazon.com/shop/kianabonollo
My aunt is actually learning how to do gel X
I just want this ring lol
u are so good, what product of gel extntion that last for a month?
Hey where's the part two of the leather dress?? I'm dying to see it
Gel Extensions
Whats flashcuring?
On the next dress you make, you should make pockets with it.
Glue that. Needs UV to cure is a game changer that orignal nail glue dry in 2 second ruin my your. Mail bed never again
Wouldn't it be easier to paint before you apply the nail? Maybe I'm wrong but It would probably be able to get details better
the tips won’t adhere to the nail bed if there is color on the nail already. the tip has to be transparent in order for it to fully cure onto the nail!
❤❤
I’d recommend UV gloves so you don’t premature damage & age your hands
I just brought my mom some UV gloves as a stocking stuffer since she loves her gel nails...
Not needed if it’s an LED lamp
I also wanted to learn nail art and nail extension and following my ISI interest, I did a nail extension course from Meri Bindiya International Academy and today I am working on the post of a good nail technician ❤❤❤❤
How long do you think gel x nails would last as an apprentice hairdresser? My main concern is having my hands constantly in water even though I’m only part time:)
What if you wanted to paint them first and then glue them on could you still use this product?
What app do u use for your design pls tell
ik the chances of you seeing this comment are slim; i would just like to ask you to make more nail content. more designs, tutorials, etc. pleaasee!
Can I use rubber base instead of that,,nail glue” u use under ur gel x tips?🫶is that gonna stay like nail glue u use? Thanks 🩵
I just saw a video on a hema allergic reaction now im scared to death to use this stuff
Do those soft nails harden when cured? Or are they flimsy
can u use base coat as nail glue for extensions?
Be sure to start with pushing your cuticles back and buffing your nails. Then you dehydrate and prime.
she literally said that
She said that lol
Do I have to dehydrate ?
Can you paint the extensions first, do all your designs, and *then* go to glue them onto your nails or would all the layers of gel affect the adhesion and not cure properly??
How do you take the off
❤️
After applying the gel x nails, do we have to make the surface rough and apply base coat first ?
I’m curious - what’s the benefit of adding the first layer of the “nail glue” to the nail itself vs. applying straight to the tip then applying it from there to the nail? I have the same kit but never did it that way. 😅
Can you use regular nail glue on the gel tips?? Or does it have to be specific gel glue??
What’s pre etched?
Do you wipe off the sticky layer of base gel after curing and then put on the nail or do you leave the sticky layer?
Can I use a basecoat as a nail glue?
The glue that you said is "literal gel," is it base gel or builder gel (or something else)?
how long would these last ?
what kind of lamp u use for indevidual nail?
what is the difference between simple nail tips and gel x nail tips
Can u paint on them with regular nail polish without having the led light and just use normal nail glue? I am asking because I want to ask for those for chirstmas but I don't have lamp or a big lamp?
Yes you can paint on them with regular polish!
YAAS EARLYY
Do you cure after primer?
Can i use a normal gel base coat or top coat instead of the gel glue ?
Wanna know this also, saw a Japanese channel doing it
Where do u buy these products including the lamp plz
Did the melt ? I tried gel x nails at the salon once . When I was cooking / the heat from the stove melted the tips ??
how do you take them off though? i want to buy a gel X kit
How long does the flash cure, cure for
How long is the flash cure
sooo early!!
Strange, do these stick for a long time? Actually you eed to buff the inside in the gel x too
Not all need to be buffed inside you can get pre buffed or you can get a pre etch fluid to paint on
I must have some terrible tips because I got a gelX kit a couple months ago and prepped my nails really well and they would stay on for like a day and then one or two would pop off and I was left with a peeled white consistency on my nails of the gel and some would come off and the rest was stuck really well and I cured them like 3 times to make sure they were dry and still were messed up!
Mine lasts 1 to 2 weeks. What brand is the kit?
The lamp is probably too low wattage
wheres the black leather puff dress?
What does the lamp machine do?
How long is a flash cure?
Where do I find that lamp?
How to do nondominant hand
Ok so you did a good job and those look really cute, but those are not gel x tips or gel x adhesive gel. Gel X is a specific brand. Not a cheap one either.
Lots of other brands are trying to get around trademark infringement by changing how they spell it
gel x means gel eXtensions
Silly question for everyone!! If you use those tips can you paint just regular polish on them or do you have to use gel nail polish??
Regular Polish won't last as long as Gel Polish does, but you can use regular polish
How long that will be last ?
All nail down are abs plastic. I did a lot of investigating with this I don't know why they have the word softgel on them because they are not gel.
I hope everyone who does this regularly uses a strong spf on their hands first, or the gloves you can buy that protect your skin (tips are cut off so you can cure nails). If you don’t protect your hands, you’ll end up with a lot of sun damage = age spots, later on.
Don't spread false info
100% not true. It’s not a tanning bed. 🤣
What mail polish is that
How do you remove these kinda nails?
‘How I do my gel-x’ *proceeds to not use any apres gel-x products 😂

Even i got dome my gel extension 💅 nails 😒😒 but that went worse, got out within 3-4 days😔😓😓
Quick question do gel x nails ruin your natural nails
From my experience no, it depends what adhesive you use- personally I use builder gel and when they eventually come off they you just peel off the thin coat of that and your nail is completely undamaged and healthy underneath.
I don’t have a flash light
Your don't buff nails first?
Just so you know the soft gel nails are plastic
Hơ you can take your nails off without damaging your real nails?
with Aceton
I keep thinking that wouldn't it be easier to paint them before putting it on your fingers? Is it possible?
Only if you're doing French tips, or the color is sheer. The uv light can't penetrate opaque colors to cure properly
How long do they usually last?
Why doesn’t she paint them before putting them on?
Because you couldn’t do a Gel cure that way- they’d turn into press ons
How long does it last??
Like 3-4 Months ( if you did everyting right )
Not Gel X if its an amazon knock off. 🎉
what is it then?
Okay when you say cheap I’m really poor so I think of up to $10 but those are like $18-$20
