Woohoo! No worries, I thought it would be nice to vary things up a little. Nurgle and Tzeentch are also my favorites, fluff-wise. I love their appeal and the feel of their armies!
I do, too. My philosophy is that I want as many models as I can have in my army that nobody else has or thought of. Conversions are the most fun for me, which is why I love Chaos and Orks, although you can really convert any unit in any army, those are the easiest because the kits just really work well with each other!
Awesome! Thanks for watching and commenting =D Most people like to wait to glue the shield on, I agree. I'm going to see how different it would be to paint these guys up with the shields already attached. The good thing about it is that the shields are held so close to the body, most people won't be able to notice. Cross your fingers haha!
Thanks! Yes, I have some around, I just don't have the time to film everything I want to, unfortunately, but I'd like to do a couple videos on the bestigor and maybe minotaurs soon =D
wow, it looks like a great project to undertake, my friend! Nurgle is great fun to do, I'm having a blast painting my test mini up and should have the taetorial for Nurgle warriors up this weekend (fingers crossed!)
You could, although the demonic skull looks a little small, compared to the other heads. I didn't really do anything special, just used a different type of glue (super glue) to get the metal to stick to the plastic.
These guys really are great. Don't worry, I got five painting taetorials planned, four for the separate gods, and one for the Chaos Undivided, black and brass look. Nasty Nurgley color scheme is the first on the list!
nice! Yeah, they do look like they would be hard to convert over to 40k, congrats on getting them to work! I love seeing new and interesting conversions like that.
Thanks! Yep, Mark of Nurgle with Banner of Rage seems to be the way to go, I've seen, based on feedback from friends and internet wisdom (although we all know to take that with a grain of salt) I'd like to paint them up in the traditional green armor with ruddy brown rust spots, kind of like the plastic Nurgle Lord model you see around. The green glaze sounds nice, as well. I'll have to think a little more about it before filming. Thanks for the input =D
I think my friend got it off the GW website under the bits section for fantasy. I love the look of the halberds, as well! Can't wait till they make them plastic haha!
i got a set of these on the cheep and i play 40k.i converted them to Khorne berzerkers and death guard. they turned out well and my group loves 'em. It was a bit of a pain to get the guns on 'em but it turned out alright and it was a fun convert
Thanks for the shoutout, I will have Uncle Nurgle save a special pox just for you now. No need for thanks its the least I can do for my good friend Tae!!! Praise be to Uncle Nurgle and his pustulient glory!!!
Looking forward to this. I'm kinda fed up of seeing Empire all over the place (Not just your vids bud!) Love Nurgle too! Nurgle and Tzeentch have always been my favourite of the chaos gods hehe.
Hey tae, thanks for making more great videos really love them. I just wanted to share a strange thing I found recently with you. If you make a mix of 7-8 white scar and 1 elf flesh you get a rather nice looking paper shade. I found this while looking for a adequate color to make my dwarven engies cipboard. oh and on that I am drawing the three runes I am going to usually have on the cannon during battle.
Could you have put that demonic skull as the head of your musician? Did you have to do anything special to get the metal halbards to stick to the plastic arms?
My first batch of chaso warriors had the shields attached to them before they wert painted. Let me tell you, that it was frustrating and a pain in the buttocks to paint them.
great video. u'we been a great inspiration to me for the last month or so :) but i do have one question: isn't it better not to glue the shields, but to paint them separately ??
Yeah haha, I noticed that as well =P I blame it on Chaos!!! I would say that I get at least two or three hours a day with the hobby? If I didn't have a job, I'd get a lot more in haha, but I need to sleep and work and do all that other stuff to keep a living =D
Do you know where your friend got the halberds from? the look sick, I just started WOC about a month ago, got the battalion and and extra set of warriors, looking to pick up another 12 or so and the halberds are just too awesome. Keep up the great stuff brodie!
I just noticed something. Your musician has the wind blowing in his face and his hair seems to be going backwards. And then you have the skull on the halberd going forward :P By the way, how much time do you spend per day/week on assembling/painting miniatures? You've painted more since I subscribed to you then I have in the past year lol!
hahaha! It's all good, buddy. Sometimes, I film stuff and months or years later, I forget about it until the videos pop up because of someone's comments, and I think, "wait...I filmed an unboxing of this?!?" Case in point: Warriors of Chaos hahahaha!
Thanks! I believe I sold them when I moved. I love the new kits, I love how each looks like it’s own hero and not just a rank and file trooper all posed identically.
the flies of the mother swarm, will infest your body and mind, leaving only a shell for me to infest. - gargle the great :D bloody love nurgle!!! might post some pics of some nurgle im doing on a blog or on a forum. nice vid, might pick some up they look rather easy to turn into the shell which gargle craves. oh and gargle is the hivemind for my nurgle :D i searched it up and its kind of expensive for what it looks like you get. is it worth it? -hippo
Nope! Real easy to build. Some people like to keep the shields off to paint separately and to get at the armor under it, but either way, they're really quick and easy to glue together.
DiMoNico1981Swe Personally, I like the models being in plastic because of all the hobby possibilities for conversions and stuff. The metal bits were a lot harder to work with because they were harder to cut and re-align.

Thank you =D I really appreciate the hint for the parchment color, I'll have to try it out later!
yeah, I LOVE the look of the Knight lances. Mark of Khorne you say? I must look into this! Thanks for writing in =D
Hahaha Nurgle Mousse! "For body, volume, lustrous shine, and a-WHAT THE HELL IS IN THIS STUFF!?!?"
Yep! The shields are there to add to their armor save from shooting and magic =D
Excellent! That sounds like a solid block and backbone for an army. My test model came out really well and I think people will like it =D
Thanks for watching! I'm glad I can do videos that make the community happy! Thanks again for watching and commenting =D
Thank you very much! I'll check out your Project Ogre Kingdoms tonight!
haha, I know, after all my talk of painting in sub-assemblies! oh well, I'm going to try to do my best with them!
Your ideas for the chaos nurgle warriors will help me with my next batch of nurgle warriors. I want to do 2 units of 20 warriors with the nurgle theme
Noooo you fell for the "glue shields on before i paint trap!". Cant wait to see them painted Tae.
haha cant wait to see you paint these up, ive got the same project as you mate so a lot of inspiration may come from your vidz ;)
Thanks for the shoutout, I will have Uncle Nurgle save a special pox just for you now. No need for thanks its the least I can do for my good friend Tae!!!
Praise be to Uncle Nurgle and his pustulient glory!!!

Love Nurgle too! Nurgle and Tzeentch have always been my favourite of the chaos gods hehe.
Its really for new Chaos players or rookies to the hobby
They're just on the GW site, under the bitz section of Warhammer Fantasy.

but i do have one question: isn't it better not to glue the shields, but to paint them separately ??
Yep! Working on it now =D
Yeah haha, I noticed that as well =P I blame it on Chaos!!!

His musician just don't want to get a helm shaped hairdo or hair in his eyes, so he uses mousse to blast it back. :)
Glad you're enjoying it! Warrior Taetorials coming soon =D
oh yeah! Gotta keep Uncle Nurgle happy =D
Do you know where your friend got the halberds from? the look sick, I just started WOC about a month ago, got the battalion and and extra set of warriors, looking to pick up another 12 or so and the halberds are just too awesome. Keep up the great stuff brodie!
Your cat must be a secret Slaanesh cultist =D

I have question: Will you make some beastmen?
Thank you!
thanks tae i like converting things i hope 6th gives me more "converts" for chaos >=)
okay! got a taetorial on the tyrant model incoming =D
hahaha! It's all good, buddy. Sometimes, I film stuff and months or years later, I forget about it until the videos pop up because of someone's comments, and I think, "wait...I filmed an unboxing of this?!?"
Case in point: Warriors of Chaos hahahaha!
0_o but wouldn't the other hand be used to grasp the two handed weapon?
Do you still have these models?
Have you checked out any of the newer Chaos Warriors from the start collecting box or the newer stand alone kit?
Thanks! I believe I sold them when I moved. I love the new kits, I love how each looks like it’s own hero and not just a rank and file trooper all posed identically.
@@WarbossTae Was that because of Age of Sigmar?
If so you should check out Warhammer armies Project.
Basically 9th edition.
New armies too 👍
Nice!!! I haven’t heard of it! I’ll check it out! Thanks for the recommendation!
Like to see them painted up. :)
Yeah, I know haha, its a weird rule, I agree, and not very well represented by the models =D
Thanks! =D
How have I not seen thus video? I WANT WARRIORS OF CHAOS.
the flies of the mother swarm, will infest your body and mind, leaving only a shell for me to infest.
- gargle the great

yup!
Thanks =D
Another great vid!
very nice
ipainted a nurgle chaos chapion their a thew weeks ago lol but my cat broke it
awsome
is it hard to build them?
Nope! Real easy to build. Some people like to keep the shields off to paint separately and to get at the armor under it, but either way, they're really quick and easy to glue together.
ok cool, but what do y think about the new Style in Warhammer, is better now with only plastic or was tinn better?
DiMoNico1981Swe Personally, I like the models being in plastic because of all the hobby possibilities for conversions and stuff. The metal bits were a lot harder to work with because they were harder to cut and re-align.
This one is
oh yeah!! and a damn good video it is too :D
