For those who wonder what will happen if we run out of charge, SCS is gonna release the "Emergency Recharge" option with the truck tomorrow. ;)
currently emergency refueling takes 30 minutes I think, so I'm curious how long will it take to recharge
@@adwarin3835 30 minutes is no emergency reloading, its normal reloading! Reload, not Refuel!

i am really sure, there will be mods to buy it at the dealer and than recharge it at normal Gas Stations a while after release :D

I wonder where we can charge it! It would be easy to add charging station on company buildings. If it's yours you don't pay for it, but if you don't own it, you pay for it.
In my opinion, it should be near garages and parking places at rest stops and gas stations. It can also be in companies, but each one is different
you have emergency reload function like emergency refuel function for the other trucks!
I'm sure pretty soon the mack Pinnacle will come to American Truck simulator soon

@@The_One_Over_There I hope SCS releases it soon because I would like to see that truck in American Truck Simulator I'm going to guess it's probably going to have the same sound as the mack anthem unless it has a different sound like the international 9900 I

for ProMods, Yes. But just to play the game in 1.50 without mods - no, DLCs are not compulsory.

PromodsATS got released like two days ago. I'm sure it will release for ETS2 in this week or perhaps next week.
So since there isn't any charging infrastructure, I'm guessing that it will be for SHORT quick jobs, i.e. less than 5 hours let's say.
of course. But you can also reload the truck with the emergency reloading function (and maybe do some unplanned extra ways/streets). ;-)

The solution, just 'recharge' the Truck with 'Gasoline' at the Gas Stations 😎
this is no option in this time, but you can do an emergency reload like emergency refuel for the other trucks!
Me working in transport and having the honour to see another Renault electric truck in real life, I can tell you that the whole green agenda and the push to go all electric is all BS unless you want an even worse future and life in poverty for the future generations

From what I read on their blog the new electric truck will only be available in the quick jobs market at first.
I hope I'm proven wrong however and that it'll be fully available for all game modes upon release.
Looks like the truck will have an extremely small in dash GPS display so unless it also includes an option to add a tablet sized GPS like with the standard range T model I might not be able to use it as I can barely see the display in most of the other trucks due to my aging eyesight.

@@asjbfjbkaw There is an option for a emergency recharge, and you can make the charge infinite by save editing anyways

probably enough charge to complete the job, if you drive for too long anyway, press F7 and there will be "Emergency Recharge" in the place of "Emergency Refuel"

Look at the route advisor when I zoomed in at 0:44, it says the battery is low and there is an electric icon and everything 👍

As much as I don't really like electric trucks, it's good to see some changes in the game. And who knows, maybe we will see trucks using hydrogen internal combustion engines make a debut in ETS2/ATS in 5-10 years (that is if we are able to see things like those on the road during that time)

I get enjoyment out of listening to the recordings of real engines. Personally don't see the point of electric trucks in a game. Sounds boring.

A lot more people play ETS2 than ATS. There are multiple trucks coming to ATS for example: the full release of the T680 (soon) the Mack Pinnacle (soon) the Peterbilt 579 NG.
