My Human Rights Tribunal Story -TFF Episode 73
In episode 73 of The Fiamengo File professor Janice Fiamengo describes her experience, and the significance for all citizens of once-free and just countries, of being dragged through a protracted and expensive quasi-judicial process on false claims easily discredited by even a casual observer.
This Social Justice Tribunal stand as an example of what can happen to a law abiding citizen in a society pushed far off the course of justice by the SJW tyrants now wreaking havoc in the west.

Exactly. I had an team member like that, very incompetent and instantly jumped to racism allegations. Luckily he was too stupid to play victim properly (in the screenshot of the racist remarks in the chat, he was the one actually insulting my country, etc...) It was 6 months of hell before we got rid of him anyway. I cannot even imagine something really serious and lasting much longer.

While your case was sometime ago now, I fully understand and empathise with your experience Dr Fiamengo. I was subjected to false claims by a colleague whom I supervised. After 2 years of internal investigation and attendance at 2 formal tribunal proceedings, I was finally cleared from any wrongdoing. It was emotionally and mentally damaging. At no time did I feel supported by 'the system'. All I can say from my experience is that everything is stacked in favour of the accuser.

Being cleared doesn't necessarily mean it's forgotten. I was passed over for promotion because of a false accusation that I was found not to have done years before. You might want to consider finding a new job.

The damage to caused by this has no monetary value because it’s life altering in so many ways. This type of thing happened to me, and although the case was dropped due to the probability that it was a false claim, the damage was done. Forever onwards, people will always say “where there’s smoke there’s fire”. There’s no attempt made by anyone to announce your innocence. I totally understand and I thank you Janice for your work. Sad this happened and I hate to see it so often

There is also the day you realise....the process is the punishment. Sorry to hear about your generous helping of injustice.
You really are one of us, now, Janice. It is one thing to talk about potential injustice. It is another to have a government, or just an all powerful institution, breathing down your neck...and have no way out or any real way to fight it. Entering the race knowing you will always be worse off, after its conclusion, even with a "favorable" outcome.

My only experience with the HRT was when I was fired from a school for missing a critical deadline.
I told them the deadline was missed because of the birth of my first child. When they thought I was calling for my wife they wanted to proceed.. but as I clarified that I, an ordinary white man was to be the complainant, they declined.
I guess there are laws that protect some but not others.

India is facing a deluge of false rape and domestic violence cases because of a similar situation. There is no penalty for false accusations and the accused is threatened within definite jail time, financial and reputational loss. Courts in India take years even decades to decide and in the meantime the accuses is in jail as an undertrial. Most "settle:. It has now become an extortion racket. So glad that your case has been settled. Please do continue your campaign against the blatantly unjust society that feminism has created.

My very 1st real summer job at age 15 was as a waitress helper at an ancient grand hotel not far from the Saguenay river. Splendid two summers spent there. Got to 'carry on' with 18-21 yr olds, many eager to instruct a kid in worldy ways.
Was a clerk there, age ca 18. He had two arms, that looked a lot like 'Thalidimide' victim kids did later on.
One was a hook-like affair with enough fingers to type, grasp and hold with. The other arm ended with a fleshy corkscrew near his elbow.
He'd go to taverns and bars for a couple of drinks, with a T-Shirt on, then get aggressive and showy deliberately picking fights with some other other male.
Taught me a lot about both mental and physical 'bullying cripples' . . .

I have recently been accused of racism whilst attending an online meeting. The ease and arrogance of the ridiculous claim was quite frightening. In mid sentence as I attempted to explain myself I saw how by doing so I was causing myself an even worse dilemma so came off the meeting, and the forum and have decided to, let it go, as the inescapable result of digging my own grave became apparent.

The vast majority of injustice and oppression is carried out in the name of “the law,” not in spite of it. And the only way out of the vicious cycle that humanity has been stuck in for millennia-the only way for people to end authoritarian injustice permanently-is for the people to stop believing in the superstition of “authority,” and to stop imagining that they have some obligation to obey liars and crooks when those liars and crooks wear the label “government.” Larkin Rose.

Sadly, the process is the punishment ... A backlash against these Courts of Star Chamber will build. One would think the legal profession would be amongst their loudest critics, but it turns out, they are a great source of billings for many. False, or exaggerated, accusations cannot be tolerated in any judicial forum and must carry a very real penalty when they occur.

"What kind of a country does this to its citizens" - brings to mind the song 'The New Kings' by Marillion:
Remember a time when you thought that you mattered,
Believed in the school song, die for your country - a country that cared for you
    All in it together?
If it ever was more than a lie or some naive romantic notion
    Well, it's all shattered now
    It's all shattered now
    Why is nothing ever true?
    Why is nothing ever true?
    Why is nothing ever true?
Well do you remember a time when you thought you belonged to something more than you?
A country that cared for you
A national anthem you could sing without feeling used or ashamed
You poor sods have only yourselves to blame
    On your knees, peasant
You're living for the New King
You're living for the New King
You're living for the New King.

Malicious people spend their lives becoming better at malice. They learn the nuances of manipulation; everything else is white-noise to them. They learn to control people, and thus the society which restricts their predations. This is their only approach to life, the core of all their thoughts. They are hyper-specialized experts.
Solidaritous people, instead, prioritize comprehension of reality as a whole. To better improve life for themselves, and all. They attempt learning the infinite complexities of life. This is far, far, far, far harder than the hyper-focus on manipulation. They also avoid learning manipulation, as we are all inherently adverse to strife and reminders of it - malice being a paradoxical over-expression of that aversion.
This difference is why the malicious win; the solidaritous are too busy elsewhere. But eventually, due to the sheer chaos the malicious create, the solidaritous outgrow their cowardice, abandon their glorified hobbies, and lift the sword. Then comes the 'oppression' of the malicious, 'committed' by the solidaritous. This happens because malicious people cannot control themselves. They must be dealt with.
This is why our ancestors did what they did for thousands of years, in every corner of the globe. We are, at this very moment, all over the West, seeing endless evidence of exactly why they kept certain groups from impacting society. You ignored Grandpa, now you have to clean up the world. Hope you're happy.

There needs to be a remedy (punishment) for false allegations. What has happened to Canadian society. Students, in particularly, feel completely free lob "grenades" towards those who don't grovel before. The Human Rights Tribunals are mostly useless and a waste of taxpayer funding. In Canada and in other western countries.

Note - the HRA was nevee intended to apply to private citizens and organizations. It was only ever intended to apply to the gov, the same as rhe Charter of Rights!
"The purpose of this Act is to extend the laws in Canada, with a purview to matters thay come before the legislature . . . "
In essence, it's designed to prevent things like Jom Crow laws being written by gov's. It was in the 70's with the creation of the single mom whom landlords rejected they just - up and decided - the Act could be applied.
    The Left are insidious!
