3. Having Joint Account.(building Trust, Money will never be an issue)

Wow...I just heard everything that was wrong in my previous relationship. My priest who is also a marriage counselor told me I dodged a bullet; I didn't understand it. My ex fiancee just hated the fact that I listened to Pastor K's teaching too much, I was like, what's wrong with trying to know how to love you better.
All Pastor K's messages I sent to my own he didn't even care to listen to them

Listening to Pastor K and Pastor M has made me grateful for all the broken relationships I have had.
I used to sulk too because I felt that it was better than talking out my emotions and it was definitely worse. But now I talk and sometimes I over talk, so, I just keep praying to know 'WHAT TO SAY AND HOW TO SAY' when angry!😊 We all really need to unlearn and relearn in this thing called marriage. 😅

Thank you Jesus, I don’t know how God does it… but everytime I need clarification on something especially relationship, I just open UA-cam and God leads me to a message or preach I should listen to. I especially love the part you said ‘’WE would not think of divorce no matter what happens, we are in this for life.
I also learnt about the sulking, that’s me .. but I have changed now… because it’s not a good character. God will help me

Marriage without tolerance will not work, no body is perfect
Tolerance is not a virtue, Patience and Acceptance is a great virtue.

2. Once married, there's no room for divorce. Divorce is not an option
3. When angry or upset, talk, don't sulk.
4. No quarrels. We can't both be angry at all.
5. Exchange parents and only intervene when there's a problem
6. Joint account and joint accountability.
7. Look out for each other. The other person is responsible for the other's well-being.
8. The marriage must be Word-ruled.
9. No password or no secret. Know each other's passwords and have each other's accounts. Transparency

I've gone back n forth on this finance (especially the matter of prenup) issue a lot. I wish I cld send him a question directly. It's not that u don't trust the person but rather u cannot control how the person will change 10 yrs from now. Even God said he regretted creating man at some point. Of course the person u marry today is someone u trust but if that person gets up 10 yrs from now n walks out regardless of counseling etc., u can't force them to stay. Why are we ok with every kind of insurance (life, home, car) but not a prenup😢 which is pretty much a financial insurance? Like he mentioned person can be determined to fight for the marriage when the other one mentally left a long time ago n nothing can change their minds.

~Marriage won't give you what you don't have..... Have a life.
~when you have self-esteem and self-value, you'll become very selective of the person you journey with in marriage...

I don’t think it’s about being insecure, I don’t see anything wrong with keeping personal accounts, like me for example i like to plan surprises and it’s easier to do that when you have a separate account

Many men who are impotent (inability to sustain erection during sex is an aspect of impotency) don't know as they haven't had sex before. I regret resigning my job before marriage, not having sometimes to do as woman is bad. 2years without doing something tangible is really breaking me. Imagine not having your own money to buy things you need😢I feel so unhappy😢
