Prince of Peace Abbey - Ora Et Labora

Ora Et Labora, (Latin for Prayer & Work,) is a one-hour documentary made in 1999 by KOCT about the Prince of Peace Abbey located on Benet Hill overlooking the San Luis Rey River and Pacific Ocean in Oceanside California. Through interviews with the Benedictine monks who live at the Monastery we learn about their day-to-day activities and about the history of the order.

I have been pleased to take retreats at this monastery. The Priests and the clergy there are such loving and faithful people! The atmosphere and services makes it easy to concentrate on spirituality! I love it there!
