Hi, is it normal for the ln46acf model to have a play on the tip? At least 1mm from side to side?
A bit is OK but if it’s affecting quality of the tool. Definitely get them warrantied!
@@SnaponToolsJosephHull just received one I bought brand new on eBay. Called snap on customer service to ask about it and they said they cannot warranty the tool. According to them I’m not the original owner? Is that correct? I wanted to have a replacement just in case this one is a bit off
@forza890 unfortunately, yes! You would have to have an original set from someone like me, Snapon Franchisee, or from customer care where you ordered it on eBay, and Didn’t get it from the horses mouth, per se, whoever the original person selling them could’ve possibly tampered with them. Which would void the warranty. That’s why it’s so important to hop on your local truck, or buy online from a authorized dealer, or from the Snapon website

It’s completely off topic but do you have an email I could send this video to of this new ctr768 to, got it off eBay and it’s just been refurbished and when I used it today for the first time it’s making a loud whining noise, just want some advice
We do have a repair centre it can be sent into!
@@SnaponToolsJosephHull yes I would do that but the guy sent me the invoice which showed it had just been refurbished, I just want to know if it’s normal or not
Depends on if the invoice is from the Snapon repair center, or from eBay refurbishing it, may not be the proper parts installed
@@SnaponToolsJosephHull yes it is snap on refurbishment mate it turns fine and breaks fine but I’m worried about the longevity because of the loud whine
Have you greased the head? Or does the whine sound like it’s coming from the motor?
