I love my snap on guy, he’s a great person, very friendly and helpful but his truck is a old dark and dingy truck, we’re in Texas so it’s hot and he still chooses not to get his generator fixed so no ac and he doesn’t keep his truck nearly as stocked as yours. I don’t like ordering a tool I like to be able to walk on see something I like and walk off that day
I have the Mountain brand set in both metric and SAE cause my OCD can't take just buyin the metric.....Can't beat the and almost a must. They're almost a must if you can afford them. Another useful tool if you can afford them is some sort of 0 offset long patten wrenches, i have a master set of Capri but buy best you cam afford
F80 ratchet, Sgdx120br screwdrivers, 212fsmsy ( I have to have the sockets, if you have the ratchet!) Spbs704ar (I’m not strong enough to make a lot of things move, so leverage is always helpful) And toolboxes! Some people don’t consider these tools, but organization may help you from losing other tools! Organization and save you a lot of money, even though it may cost you upfront
Question. I have solus edge legand 100th anniversary edition. I haven't updated since i bought it. Would i have to pay all 3 years worth updating or just one of update cost and puts fully up to date?
For updates, there are three ways to purchase, loyal, which means you keep your scanner up-to-date, every six months, non-loyal, which is for people who haven’t updated within the last six months, and subscription! No matter how far your scan tools out of date, you only pay one price! we don’t multiply by how far your scan tool is out of date we just charge the non-loyal pricing!
I’m a big financial geek how much do avg customers spend per year on snap on I would guess 3k for a normal person and I’m sure a business to get kitted out spends almost 100k on normal tools
I subbed I’ve been getting into fix it stuff on my ranch over the last year and u seen like a nice guy good luck in hockey nation it’s lik 80 degrees for Christmas and also if u mind how do u get paid did u buy a franchise and have to fork money up front or they own everything and u get commission
I own the business as a franchise!! So part of the money I collect each week goes towards my tool bill to pay for tools, another portion goes towards my bills!
And it depends on the customer, Small Engine techs buy a separate set of tools, then heavy duty, which also spends a different amount than a heavy marine diesel! On average 3000 is a good estimate, but, depending on the tools they buy, it can vary!
I’m semi-retired tech and still spent over 2k with my dealer. Had to get a rider on my homeowners ins for my tools and they were appraised at 92k. I averaged my receipts over a 30yr period and it came out to just over $3,600 per year.

Hopefully he gets things fixed up to make you comfortable coming on the truck! Breakdowns suck and can be extremely expensive
