Smash’ character arc is so underrated. He started off as an untouchable blue chip prospect with an unwavering self confidence to the point he spoke in 3rd person. After a few incidents off the field, and an acl tear all of his offers were revoked and he had to walk to Texas A&M. I cried when he made he team
Same lol. Him trying out and making the team at A&M is probably my favorite scene in TV history. Can’t watch it without crying
His last scene was tear inducing. "Where you at baby? Where you at!?" But even from the beginning he loved his family and would do anything for them. Thats why he was a likeable arrogant
Street had reasons for his behavior. The most annoying character is Julie. All the other characters had their ups and downs, but Julie only ever had down and lower. She was rude, ungrateful, and whiny towards her amazing parents and boyfriend.
Well they wrote her that way, she was the only actual teenager on the show, the rest were 35 years old in rl.
@@raidermartin2894 I wasn’t criticizing the actress herself genius.
Her dad was a legend but I found her mum extremely annoying and overbearing. I think thats what they were going for with julies character. She was acting up cause her mum was smothering her
Julie. WORST. CHARACTER. EVER.
Lyla really grinded my gears. But Julie reminded me of my ex girlfriend from high school. So I’m also with you on that
@@Ayoomikee IMO, she only got annoying in later seasons when the writers made her bitter for no reason and kept making her hook up with creepy older men.
I say Landry was annoying af🤦🏿♂️
Julie was annoying but the girl did an awesome job and her character development was awesome. Not a boring scene with julie
chillll, lance the goat@@biingolewis7824
Most annoying characters for me were JD McCoy, McCoy’s father and Coach McGregor (the guy would took over when Coach Taylor left).
Yes he was the lisp monster. "You just my coach" after dad fucks him up, and they follow the mandate.
@@raidermartin2894old comment but I do appreciate his character in contrast to like riggins and Tyra and smash who were grounded vulnerable characters who fit into the world but felt kind of glamorous. Jd felt and looked like most five star qb prospects like that today- regular high school kids who look like high school kids and are a little pent up and inside themselves and aren’t the most expressive people and have uncomfortable relationships with their dads
The fake cry talk that Julie did was always super annoying, when she acted like she was holding back tears and she would start twitching her mouth around
The most annoying character was obviously Voodoo. (And he was supposed to be)
Now he’s Hawkman
Julie was absolutely the most annoying character. She’s surrounded by teens with REAL problems and super dysfunctional families, yet she always whines about how tough SHE has it even though her parents are practically saints and then she screws up seemingly on purpose for no good reason time and time again.
Dont worry, Street. We love you. The show wouldnt have been what it was without you.
Jason Street annoying? Were these people not very intelligent? Did they confuse the words annoying with inspirational?
obvious idiots
Where can we get that Dillon hoodie???
I'm a Jason Street defender
I agree with you but only in season 1. In season 2, Street became just an extra, and everyone started to forget about him and then he quit the show at some point...
"Oh I'd punch them" Well that's an overreaction lol
Julie Taylor. She reminds me of Mays character in "parenthood". Excessive over the top drama with Julie. Just like with Mays character. There wasn't one episode in parent hood where she didn't cry 😂😂
No way noooo I loved her as a mother. Her daughter was a hell hole
@@michelletess1670 Julie is the mother! Lol
Haha ah shit. I’ll have to check it out I haven’t watched parenthood yet!
@@LongShlongJohnson wait,,,,, what?! Time out right now. My mind was telling Julie was the daughter 🤣🤣 that is hilarious. Okay yes, Julie the daughter = annoying. Lol
Street in his real estate era was the WORST.
nope
Tami’s sister
Lila him season 1 was absolutely unbearable
Wait the Governor is on Friday Night Lights!?
Julie was so annoying but Jason street was the guy
JD McCoy’s father was the most annoying to listen to and watch!!!
I'd say joe McCoy is the worst character ever
Go Huskers!!!
Tyra
No it was for sure smash williams
Ugh . . saracen the worst. Talked like he had a mouth full of marbles
was not a fan of grandma saracen ngl
Come on that’s the character! I feel like both street and grandma were meant to have an uneasy feel to their characters seeing as one was elderly and had dementia and one was forced through traumatic experiences so it makes sense why people don’t like the characters as much as others. Street is supposed to be a very sad character who has an amazing comeback and comes to terms with his injury in later seasons
@@Cam12369 exactly
How day ye say such a thing 😂😅 I mean she was a piece of work tho lol
Buddy Garrity😂😂😂
no
Nah buddys legendary😭
@@davile4596 Im from Texas and he reminds me so much of the business men, who were the football boosters. They would meet up at Whataburger on Saturday mornings and would annoy the heck out of us.
@@MsKylea 🤣🤣🤣i know exactly what you mean I’m from austin
Guys the definition of love to hate 😂
joe mcoy is annoying
No no. Layla was the most annoying
The most annoying was Tim
I hated buddy
