She explains it so well while shes showing you exactly what to do, but I still found it very hard to do the acrylic. She makes it look so easy. My nails turned out ok I guess for my first time. But it took alot of fileing to make them passable. Practice is definitely key when learning a new trade like this. I give creds to all you nail masters out there.
If doing it on yourself it's a million times harder than someone else and if a little slow all you need is a slow set monomer which gives you a bit more time to work with the bead Mia secrets odourless monomer or glitterbells are all slow set even the nail career education one is slow set also slow set doesn't absolutely stink everywhere out for hours
Jammy, you are honestly one of the best teachers I have come across online ( and believe me, I've come across a looot). I am a recently qualified nail technician and, I have been in search ever since qualifying for a teacher that could 'naturally" simplify the process of acrylic application and you Jammy, you are that teacher. Thank you so much. Please, keep up the amazing work.
MsLucinda Mae Thank you so much ☺️ that is a huuuge compliment and means a lot to me. I’m really just trying help out. ❤️💕 Thank you again for your kind words.
Honestly this is the best one that actually helps me this is the one I’m learning from I live how you did that and broke it down and did it at an great pace thank you so much
Perfect. Took me 6 other videos that i stopped watching ... bfor i finally found yours. Thank you for showing exactly how to use liquid & then powder, then apply to nail. Noone else is doing this... and your video is 100% perfect.
Thank u!! Was struggling tryin so hard to it done with 2 balls strating on the cutticle area but as a begginer, so much betther with 3 balls.. thanks a lot! Very useful.
Ok I had to comment. I didn’t even finish the video yet but when I say you explained everything so perfectly 👏🏾👏🏾 you made the application look so easy and I’m going to try doing this today. I’m in nail school right now during quarantine so I’m trying to learn as much as possible. And your voice is extremely soothing 😩 Thank you !!!!!
That tip was helpful (wetting the nail tip with monomer before applying acrylic) my acrylic seem to harden fast as soon as I place the bead down and I have no room work with it.
This is great! I just got my Red Iguana in the nail today so she’s getting a workout this weekend! Your very good at teaching what you know. I really appreciate you taking the time out to show these applications🥰🥰🥰🥰💕💕💕🌹🌹🌹🌹
Christine Wolanin yay! I love your feedback and that it helps you! It’s what I do this for ❤️ oh let me know how you like the Red Iguana. I need something different or at least one that holds up so I don’t have to keep adjusting the nail. Always nice to see u here 💞🥰❤️💐 Thank you 🙏🏼
You just made that look so easy. Im in nail school right now and we’re using odorless monomer which makes the acrylic super runny and take longer to dry. And I guess I just get so excited to put the acrylic on that I mess with it too much and it ends up looking all lumpy once I finish. Im still working on practicing my beads and not using so much of the monomer. But this video is really great. Thank you!
I've been watching your videos as the pop up on my home feed. They have really been helping me to remember some things I had forgotten. Thank you! Just got a new subby!!see ya later!
This was great only question I have is when you take the brush out the monomer to take some off do you go in the acrylic with the wet or side you wiped off ?
First off, your voice is sooo soothing and calming. Really loved this video, very thoroughly put. I am a beginner and this video really help a lot. Thank you so much and I will be a new subbie 🤍
Just subbed. I'm self learnin got everything I need. Even the lovely same hand. But wow 👏 u explained this method so well. I'm on day 3 learning n I finally got it 👍other videos aren't so understanding. But I'm definitely excited that I'll be going much closer to doing these full time!
I’m just starting out and I started off using drug store acrylic such as the big containers of kiss acrylic as well as glam and glitz. I just recently switched to Mia secret and I’m finding it hard to get a good apex as well as a good acrylic nail in general. The powder is more runny no matter the different powder to liquid ratio I try. Any advice?
Goldendoll hi doll! I know exactly what you are talking about! And I know you said no matter what liquid to ratio but I dab a lot of the liquid out of my brush and that helps. Watch my last video on sculpting for beginners. I use Miss secret and the first bead was on the dry side and it helps. I hope this was helpful! Thank you for watching love 💜
I’m a new subie this look so fun and productive and I really wanna do this so I’m happy I subscribe to this channel you actual gives us tips and help other people out with a first beginner 💛💛🎯
Jessica Davis great question love! It would change a little. Before you apply the bead at the cuticle, you would apply a thin layer of acrylic, apply the glitter and lastly the bead so that it encapsulates the glitter. Let me know if you’d like to see a video on it and I’ll do it ❤️ Thank you 💞
Can you possibly do a tutorial on what products you used for the set you're wearing in this video?? They're so stunning. Im obsessed with boomer nails and a more natural look like what you have on here and in dying to know! Thank you so much for so many amazing and helpful videos! The monomer on the nail to dampen it before application is something I've never heard, but will try!
Thank you! Those are my favs too and nails that are clear and sparkle ☺️ I’m not sure if that acrylic powder is still available, it’s soft white by RNS if you’re interested. I will def add to my to do list 💝
@@Jammylita thank you! Heck even just that tiny bit of info helps! I assumed it was a very translucent powder but wasn't sure if it was just clear or mixed with something or if you did a slight ombre. Anyway its gorgeous 😍

@@Jammylita no, that's exactly what I wanted to know. I've heard alcohol, but it didn't sound right. I'm definitely keeping up with you!! Thanks again 🌹

Do you have a hard time attaching the tips to the fake hand nails , or is it just me ?
Use the mandrel bit and ruff inside of nail
you monomer first then glue tips

Nice, that’s exciting!! Yeah it is a little harder to cure with oderless.. it’s all good. Filing is out best friend 😊😘❤️
Only need a very small amount of odourless as all odourless is slow set within about 3 mins even with a gummy layer

Another hack is to add a small amount of nail polish remover to your monomer to make beads dry faster
Great video! What are the reasons why you don’t like this particular practice hand? What would be a good alternative? Thanks
