This Austria travel vlog is part of a series of Austria Travel 4K Ultra HD videos. In this Austria Travel Video, I'm in Vienna, the city of music, culture and imperial sights, Austria’s amazing capital. Join me as I explore Schloss Schonbrunn, the Schönbrunn Palace and summer residence of the Habsburg imperial dynasty.
Schönbrunn Palace is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and Austria's most visited tourist attraction. It’s a marvel of Baroque architecture and garden design and it’s one of the most important architectural, cultural, and historic monuments in the country. The place is huge and seems to borrow some design elements from the Versailles palace in Paris. The entire palace has a whopping 1,441-rooms but only 40 of them are open to visit. Those however give you a great sense of what the Habsburgers lived like. The history of the palace and its vast gardens spans over 300 years and has seen quite a few changes over the years.
But it’s not only the palace building that is noteworthy, it’s also the beautifully tended geometrical gardens around it. In this video, I’m going to show you the best places in and around the palace, starting with the tour.

Schönbrunn Palace is so gorgeous. I am imagining what Sissi was like living in Schönbrunn Palace back then, but unfortunately she didn't have the happiness shown in the movie.
Yes, she supposedly was quite sad. Seems like all the money and bombastic lifestyle can't buy happiness. But the palace is a must-see - so beautiful!

Another nice travel video. It's helpful for planning as you usually include how much time might be required. We will be in Vienna on June 8th - 9th and this helps me us do better planning as were on a Viking cruise have limited time in Vienna

I suggest you should spend at the very least 2 days there. But 3-4 days would be better as there is so much to do and see. Check out my Vienna top 10 video if you have not watched it yet.
