My Aunt Shirley and Uncle Carroll built their house in the early 70's in the little ol town of Marysville Ohio. Very small town with small town charm and values. The kind of place hard to find today.... When my family would drive down to visit Aunt Shirley/Uncle Carroll we came from the north and would come through the 'back gate' and the women's prison was right there on the left. Who knew decades later one of my most favorite musicians would play a concert literally in my aunt and uncle's backyard so to speak. 👍
I've never seen Melissa, afe w years back she was playing Niagra Falls Canada , we got to concert and she cancelled🎯 So disappointed. She is one of a kind. Love her music, a true gem 💎and icon. 🍁🇨🇦🍁

Wonderful thing she did since most people in prison are not bad just made bad choices, she gives them courage to change their lives. But heck, somebody should change the prison food because they are all fat!
Melissa is one in a million real deal kindness matters beautiful beautiful human! She cares about folks that have had a tough break in Life and actually tries to help. She saved my life with her tunes because it wasn't easy being an out lesbian back in late 80's. 🏳️🌈🎸🎤🤙
