No I remember growing up seeing two commercials very unsettling on t.v. commercials about ten years ago to twenty years ago. I know teen Nickelodeon it was around the original Zoey 101 and Ned's Declassified school survival guide was just being released on teen Nickelodeon. I lived in a neighboring state from you Vinny and they aired on Nickelodeon. Again Nickelodeon had pretty messed up commercials mostly by truth anti-drug PSA commercials. I have tried to find them and send them to you. Sorry I keep missing your streams I have to work when you stream.

The thing that pisses me off about that Wendy's commercial is that there's already a state of matter between a solid and a liquid (Bose-Einstein Condensate,) and ice cream is verifiably a solid. The 2nd thing that pisses me off is that they put "Soquid" on a table of elements, even though it's a supposed state of matter, not an element.

The “Pussy” advert is interesting, because like many of these commercials they become unintentionally funny when they’re localised around Europe. “Pussy” is called “Felix” in the UK, and is a beloved brand with an iconic jingle. My old schoolmaster used to work in marketing especially naming products, and managed to name a popular car as something which means “cunt” in several dialects. Similarly, our mutual name means “mouldy bread” in parts of the Scots Highlands.
I think I personally prefer the pussi cat (sic) commercials over the modern day Felix commercials, the Felix cat has an unnatural joy in its eyes that makes me angry
By the car blunder do you mean the Honda Jazz? Was originally called the Fitta but the name was changed due to meaning cunt in Swedish and Norwegian. Or possibly the more popular blunder of the Mitsubishi Pajero which eventually changed its name to the Shogun after it was found that "Pajero" means wanker in spanish

The Solar Leads commercial is advertising to companies who install solar panels a way to get leads for clients. getting a lead means they found someone who is possibly looking into getting solar panels and so they can pursue trying to sell to that person.
Why is this a thing? Why would I not just be contacting a solar panel company myself?
