Thank you so much!
Hi Michele! Loved the speckles idea and also it was neat to see how much depth could be added to your watercolor eye! And the seashell. I live on the edge of a Redwood forest here in Northern California and I am studying these magnificent trees to see how I would even begin to capture their beauty in a watercolor. I think the watercolor pencils could help me out there.
They are great for bark, and you can even make leaf shapes and outlines within a bulk of foliage.
Great techniques! Looking forward to trying them.
Wonderful!

Thank you so much for sharing this!!
Glad it was helpful!
dlars56/// I'm thinking the same regarding rocks, especially where there is an ocean bluff, it can get complicated.
Hi Michele, I really enjoyed seeing you detail an eye in this video. I really love my watercolor pencils but always forget about them.I think I need to make them more visible in my space. Also try using a fine mesh tea strainer to get fine specks the same as scraping a pencil with a knife.
Oh yes, I remember seeing people use a strainer now, probably safer! They make a great addition to painting :-)
Thanks so much. Helps my art watching your work. Thx
My pleasure 😊

Excellent as usual. Ive been gifted a box of Inktense pencils. I would really like to know how to use them.
I was given some too, not a full set. They are fabulous, you can use them exactly the same as watercolour pencils but they don't re-wet. I would experiment, play around with them on a piece of paper, see how well one layers on another. You can also use them on top of paint or ordinary watercolour pencils.
Thanks Michelle! I'm curious if you have issues with activating the pencil further, if you decide to use paint or wash over top of that?
Yes this can happen. I tend not to layer much, but if you do try InkTense pencils they don't budge :-)
@@IntheStudiowithMicheleWebber thank you!
