- Today I'm returning to one of the best Hearts of Iron 4 mods Kaiserreich with their new update. I'm trying to bring glory to Sardinia but I made a HOI4 disaster of my own making!

6:13 Actually Macarthur's USA isn't democratic. The PSA are the democratic ones; the USA is autocratic "until further notice."
If they went down democratic instead of American Caesar route after winning the civil war, Federal USA would return to being Democratic like old USA. Personally I prefer Federal Democratic over PSA's Democratic, cuz the latter has an overall weaker buffs and focus tree in general compared to Federal USA imo.

@@Bob-fh4ht among the four factions spawned in the civil war, it is the weakest one imo with a rather short and weak focus tree. They do have manpower and numbers to compensate for it tho, and a cool theme song as a plus but on other areas, not so much. MacArthur's USA still ftw.

This is something I've always learned as a Kaiserreich main in this mod: NEVER undermine the Internationale.
They are adding focus trees to every single minor inconvinient nation,but wont add a focus tree to Hungary
the game MUST run like shit due to irrelevent nation bloat before hungary gets a focus tree, it is vital to the game experience

Not if you use custom rules to allow justifying at any time, like I did in my current Patagonia game in order to go to war with Argentina faster and the war began in 1937 :^)

Might be worth putting troops along your railroad to keep naval invasions from cutting off your supply, you can still let them land to the East and kill those divisions.

Hopefully you do more Kaiserreich there is so many more options then base HOI4 I mean I like disaster sa especially and all, but I think Kaiserreich provides a chance for more creativite game play

I would say check out South Africa :) I did a syndicalist run recently and it’s so much more streamline! I managed to carry the 3rd international just with motorized gaining 11% war score as baby SA, I also got lucky with Africa exploding into a bunch tiny countries that are easy to justify and take.
Leaving tiles next to your port undefended allows enemy troops to attack without amphibious penalties. It's not a good idea.
Still no Hungary focus tree.... but somehow updating Somalia's got bigger priority...

Who plays kaiserreich when you have kaiserredux
in Hoi it's not that smart to have small width divs unless you know what you're doing
2 10-12 widths might be able to hold the line better than a standard 20-22 width,but that also means you get TWICE the manpower loss if you go for the smaller divs

Sardinia is very hard to play, I failed at it myself as well. You're just too puny compared to the Internationale.
If there is a way to core the south of Italy without starting a war the international, it could be doable. Something like a focus to core that after you conquer the south, which is killable. But without that is VERY hard.
