The DTNVS housing is very good, super quality piece of gear. the features are great too.

Nice to see some information on these, I'm rocking a set of Gen2+ AGM Wolf 7 Pro NW1s, Bi-Ocular. Pretty much a PVS-7 In a nicer housing. It's a hard knock life. I know what the soldiers in the Gulf War had to deal with now. But for 2700$ It's a good way to start the addiction. And I'm actually impressed with the white phos gen 2+ Tube I got from AGM. I haven't had the opportunity to use a set of Gen 3 duals. But I bet it looks crispy
I understand that man! I was gonna start with a pvs14 green phosphor but waited 2 more years and then got green RNVGs. Definitely an expensive tool that’s for sure but it’s well worth it!
From what I’ve read and could be wrong, pvs31 will be harder to warranty because govt contracts will take priority to fix over a civilians and you could be waiting months. Also if I’m not mistaken pvs31 are designed around to be with 20/20 vision where dtnvs can be adjusted. Why line of work you doing now?
Yea I’m still waiting on my 31s for a little over a year now. Correct. You can adjust the dtnvs where the 31s you can’t. I did have 20/20 vision but here lately not so sure anymore. Think it’s my age lol. I own my own business and started working in real estate as well back in may
A good alternative to 31s is the 1531. Easier to service due to pvs 14 parts. They run on AAs like 31s and they use the 31 battery pack. Also have adjustable diopters to compensate for eye issues. I love mine. Running high FOM L3 white phosphor tubes. They are a little bulkier than DTNVS units but they also have adjustable gain, which may not be worth it to some but I like the feature due to the fact I live in the northwest and like the fact I can dim it down so it’s not super bright in snowy conditions. All that aside I am going to get a set DTNVS
I have a refurbished PVS30 and it is good. But I still prefer a high end thermal scope. Thermal scopes are the best in my opinion.
Yea a good thermal is next on my list and it will be an optic/clip on. Really wanting one for hunting purposes

People are going to hate me for this but I have the 31 Alphas and the new Manual again DTNVS and prefer the DTNVS MG.
More people actually prefer the DTNVS over the 31s. One is cost and the other is the DTNVS are newer and some will say better then 31 tubes

@JohnnyBGoode215 ipd stops aren't necessary and rpo lenses are inferior to Carson, that will save you about a grand right there, they sell DTNVS at various places for about 9.9-10k with L3 tubes.
