yo how do you make the lower volumes more saturated than the higher

Yo so I’d link an envelope follower to a macro, map drive to that macro, then make the the minimum value like 13dB or whatever you think sounds good, then the max value 0dB or less. Hope this helps, will try not to skip over these things next time
