I'm glad you were recommended, and I was shocked to see you only have 83 subscribers. This content is great, your storytelling is incredible and you really went above and beyond to show everything this game has to offer. Including all the deaths and mistakes you made.
Liked and subscribed. Quality content way above what your subscriber count would suggest. Awesome vid my man. I look forward to the rest of this series. 👍
Really enjoy this video and the way it is structured, I am on my second playthrough atm too and like you I didn't do much in the first its such a unique experience
Hey thanks a lot I appreciate it. Yeah it's such a beast of a game, I lose track of time just wandering around to see what happens often. Already working on the next video
Great video man! Stil not sure if I prefer this commentary style over “live” commentary, but I see how this allows to cut down a part of the gameplay like running around, transitioning or sleeping and whatnot. Here are some of my suggestions for mods: Arrival - do you wanna get your mind blown by the amazing work a random dude made is his spare time? He replaced every anomaly with modern looking ones and a bunch of extra ones Quick Slot radial menu - all you consumables under a press of a button. Rotten Life - updated textures with minimal impact
Hey thanks I'll check those out right now, though I'd probably leave Arrival for another play through. Both video styles have their pros and cons, whatever works for the creator and audience, plenty of both to go around. For me, this let's me explore (attempting to) craft a narrative and I feel like I'd just ramble if it was all live haha. On episode 2 I have a couple of live segments, I'll be experimenting with both as I move forward. Thanks again!
If you want to make your runs more immersive I would recommend to enable the mags redux mod, it adds another layer of management for weapons that I find enjoyable.
Ohhh I forgot about that, it adds Tarkov style mags and ammo management right? I gotta sit down and read through everything, there's too much stuff to keep track of in this lol
Awesome video brother. I'm looking to make GAMMA videos also very similar to yours, as a returning player from the last update. Stalker 2 can wait a few years for me.
Hey thanks a lot! Yeah I played about 5 hours of Stalker 2, while I enjoyed it, it's also far from finished. I'd rather my first experience be a proper one and with GAMMA being so good right now, it's not hard to wait longer.
Yes I learnt from the Cyberpunk release to not dive into these hugely ambitious games straight away. Plus there is no experience like EFP or GAMMA, that is what Stalker is for me so I'm in no rush to play. Will keep an eye on this series. Keep up the great work. All the best.
Awesome video! I would love if you mixed in live commentary sometimes though, I feel like a voice over won't do your nerves inside the labs justice, if you feel me. edit: Nevermind, just watched episode 2 where you did just that.
I can't help but think of Tarkov labs, so live commentary would be cussing out the hacker infestation haha. I'm working on it though, I usually play alone at night, I'll experiment more! Thanks!
@NostalgicAscent Understandable, it might be a lot to ask for when you already put in so much work editing. When I say laboratories it's just a blanket term for a couple of extra spooky missions. If your last run didn't make it that far I can't wait for you to get there!
freedom and bandits are neutral and generally if the look like a tank they're going to take more damage. love the story telling, would enjoy some live commentary though
Yeah I'm still having a hard time identifying factions at a glance, let alone the politics in The Zone. The rookie eating 8 buckshots caught me off guard is all lol. I have some live commentary segments in the followup video, but idk, I'm still playing with the idea. Thanks though!
Hey mate! Subbed! Could you please direct me to a video that you made on how to install latest GAMMA? I paused playing Stalker 2 but would love to give GAMMA a try. Looks awesome.
Hey thanks a lot! I don't have any install video but I guarantee there's several good ones here on UA-cam. I'd actually suggest just googling Stalker GAMMA and joining their discord, very nice and helpful people there. Detailed walkthroughs on how to install.
i saw there was an update after hitting end game almost 2 years ago i installed the update with no intention of playing i booted the game just to make sure it works - again to maybe play some other time i’m now like 80 hours into a mercenary run lol nice video. make sure to sell your mutant parts to butcher at garbage :)
Lol nice. It's hard to play in moderation, it's main game material for sure. I think a change I read was mutant parts are used for artifact smelting now? Dunno for sure yet
@@NostalgicAscent You are correct you need the mutant parts for artifacts. If you don't want to smelt or use artifacts, selling them to duty members in Rostok when they ask for them is more profitable then selling to butcher. I keep a stash in Rostok for this. Although in build 0.9.3 not using artifacts will make you much more disadvantaged then in previous versions.
Every day people want parts in rostok haha. I probably spent my first 10 days doing my rounds in rostok/garbage/cordon making money and stockpiling gear
You can very very finely tune every aspect of it, there's solid presets to start from and you can adjust it as you see fit mid play through. I'd definitely recommend trying it out if you're interested, 100% worth.
In settings under visuals do you have the bleed effect on? I think there's some other hit feedback settings there too, otherwise ask in the discord. They're helpful.
My computer is weird and doesn’t let me download anomaly as a zip file anymore… I get progressively more depressed when I watch people play this game :(
Love this video man! But dude... seriously need to learn to lead your targets when they're running side to side. Your bullets don't travel the speed of light, so you gotta aim in front of a target ever so slightly especially with slow buckshot rounds.
Not a completely fair comparison, but agreed. Stalker 2 needs some more work, I enjoyed what I played of it, but first experiences are important to me. I'll happily play more GAMMA while I wait for the sequel to improve.
The comment in support of the algorithmes. The world must learn more of Gamma
Gamma is life
Solid videos bro! I’ve been playing gamma for about a month now and ABSOLUTELY love it
Thanks! Yeah I'm addicted to it right now, if I wasn't stopping to make videos I'd probably be through it already lol
I'm glad you were recommended, and I was shocked to see you only have 83 subscribers. This content is great, your storytelling is incredible and you really went above and beyond to show everything this game has to offer. Including all the deaths and mistakes you made.
Thank you for the kind words, it means a lot. Gaming is an experience, gotta share it all or what's the point right? Thanks again!
Loved the narrative format of this video
Thanks that means a lot, glad you enjoyed!
actually really enjoyed this vid and the editing style etc. Hoping for a pt 2 :)
Hey thanks a lot, I appreciate it! Already working on the next one!
You seem to get traction! Keep up the good work! :D
Thanks! It's surprising to me too lol. Working on episode 3 now!
Liked and subscribed. Quality content way above what your subscriber count would suggest. Awesome vid my man. I look forward to the rest of this series. 👍
Thank you for the kind words! Glad you enjoyed, working on more now!
Really enjoying your Stalker content, my dude :)
Liking and subscribing
Hey thanks! Glad you enjoy!
this is fuckin quality man. please give us more episodes, and on a regular basis!
Hey thanks a lot I appreciate that! There's a 2nd episode already up!
the effort ur putting in to edit is definitely paying off. happy to be here before ur channel gets big :D
Happy to hear these nice comments, glad you enjoy!

Off to a good start 🎉
Yeah the new updates been good to me so far, just had to get used to the game again
Hey mate! Subbed! Could you please direct me to a video that you made on how to install latest GAMMA? I paused playing Stalker 2 but would love to give GAMMA a try. Looks awesome.

That's right, with the new update, mutant parts are used in artifact recipes.

@@1ondersteboven1 Thanks I'll keep that in mind, so far I've just been hoarding them waiting for good paying quests to pop up.

My gun have 0% jam yet it still jam during critical moment , not sure if it a bug 😂
Telling you man it's a conspiracy. Since I can't yell to Nikita I'll just have to yell out to Grok for such blasphemy!
7:25 That PP19 was pretty good, RIP
Yeah you're right, I noticed it too in editing. Had a good barrel and everything. Oh well, lost to the zone.
Liked the video, but man, the compression is rough.
Agreed, unfortunately didn't realize UA-cam would be so mean to 1080. Episode 2 and on should look much better
I kinda wanna try Gamma but never played Stalker before 2 and this shit looks fun mechanical wise but brutal difficulty wise
You can very very finely tune every aspect of it, there's solid presets to start from and you can adjust it as you see fit mid play through. I'd definitely recommend trying it out if you're interested, 100% worth.
Gamma still better than stalker 2 - for now
Agreed, but I'm looking forward to playing through Stalker 2 in a year when it's finished.
@NostalgicAscent yep definitelly... Imagine gamma mod for stalker 2...would be gamechanger :)
I'm having trouble with the red screen effects when I get hit. Is there a way to reduce/remove it?
In settings under visuals do you have the bleed effect on? I think there's some other hit feedback settings there too, otherwise ask in the discord. They're helpful.
Thx mate! I've tried the discord but they didn't know either.
My computer is weird and doesn’t let me download anomaly as a zip file anymore… I get progressively more depressed when I watch people play this game :(
That's odd, but you're in luck because the gamma discord should have a torrent link for it!
Love this video man! But dude... seriously need to learn to lead your targets when they're running side to side. Your bullets don't travel the speed of light, so you gotta aim in front of a target ever so slightly especially with slow buckshot rounds.
Thanks appreciate it! For sure, a lot of this playtime I was still adjusting to the game and constantly changing my sensitivity.
You sound a lot like qloud
Don't think I know who that it is. I'll assume this is a good thing? Lol
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. GAMMA»»stalker 2
Not a completely fair comparison, but agreed. Stalker 2 needs some more work, I enjoyed what I played of it, but first experiences are important to me. I'll happily play more GAMMA while I wait for the sequel to improve.
@NostalgicAscent yeah...👍✌️
Damn right ,stalker 2 is a trainwreck
i’m early
VERY early lol
Only 360p? Is my browser glitched lol
Nah UA-cam just butchered the bit rate unfortunately. In episode 2 it's better and will be from now on
