Awesome video Mike!. Love these "working drummer " videos. Wayne is so humble and dedicated to his craft... and certainly talented! I'm trying to be as versatile with my drumming chops myself- So I can work on all kinds of gigs. great advice.

Not gonna lie my wife and I are thinking of moving from DC/MD to NC to be closer to family so I totally get what he’s saying. It’s really tough having kids and no help, especially since we both work. It’s like come what may you know life will work itself out and you’ll naturally adjust. But nice to see him making the move and it working out. Edit: Luckily I’m self employed and can work anywhere so I can drum and work uninterrupted lol
Oh, it's something I considered greatly after traveling a bunch in my touring days. It's really nice to have a support network in my state right now, let alone whenever I chose to start a family.
