Man, you really went after 2000 there, lol. I love that record. I think the rough vocals are part of the whole esthetic. Bass lines are amazing, song writing is amazing. It's a departure, but so was Life Won't Wait. It's kind of their Insomniac; yeah, maybe it came from a place of "let's show everyone how punk we are" but I feel like it still came from a genuine place and is a brilliant piece of art. My list: 1. Let's Go 2. 2000 3. Wolves 4. Indestructible 5. Dominoes 6. LWW 7. Honor 8. TM 9. 93
Life won't wait is their best work. They'll never top it. Indestructible was probably their last great album, it's underrated, and the most like AOCTW. Rancid2000 is an awesome hardcore punk album and I can see why they made it. Yeah it's less melodic than anything else they've made but there are some REALLY good tracks on there.
When i heard Rancid 2000 i looked at my buddy and said "theyre acting like they forgot how to write songs"...now id rank it at 4 maybe..its gotten better with time
Yeah I've listened to it like 6 times in its entirety the last few weeks and just don't think it's any good. Personally of course. Come check out my new channel if you like punk rock content. UA-cam.com/@thelunkrockreview
Solid list! The great thing about Rancid is that the albums grow on you. 2000 is the sentimental favourite for me. I was in a Hardcore Punk band and was so happy that there was a contemporary record like that not from 1982. Such great memories of that one. I had a similar experience with F-Minus. I totally get it though. I have a friend who says this is the one Rancid record he doesn't like. I didn't like Dominoes so much but Last One To Die is one of my favourite songs. I had to grow into Life Won't Wait but it's up there now. The new one would be pretty rad if all the songs didn't have the same drum beat.
LWW was my life changing album. The summer of 98 was my first time on my own and this was my soundtrack as I travel around Oregon and Washington St. Good ranking and explanation.

- life won’t wait (a masterpiece and the best body of work they have put out) -2000 (this is my fav BUT I know it’s not their best work so it’s in at 2) -Wolves (was going to be lower on my list but it’s awesome so here it is) - let’s go (it’s let’s go, don’t need to say much more) - Indestructible (my intro to the band so will always be in the top lot) -Trouble Maker (truly great album and the album we needed and deserved after honour, plus return to the OG rancid font on artwork) -Rancid 93 (amazing debut but something is missing ….lars) -Tomorrow (only cos I haven’t had enough time with it) -Dominos (it’s not a bad album but it’s not amazing, plus took waaay to long to release and the pay off wasn’t worth it) -Honour ( sorry it’s a bad album, crap album title and lazy ass artwork as well)
1. And Out Come The Wolves 2. Life Won't Wait 3. Indestructible 4. Let's Go 5. Trouble Maker 6. Rancid (2000) 7. Let The Dominoes Fall 8. Rancid 9. Tomorrow Never Comes 10. Honor Is All We Know
Very nice call on LWW... completely agree with you putting it at #2! Here's my ranking (I am surprised you have Indestructible so low, that record is like an old friend to me): The Wolves LWW Indestructible Dominoes Let's go Troublemaker (same thing happen to me... this record was out for months before I heard anything about it) Honor 1993 2000
I like your ranking quite a bit but I'm struggling with Indestructible these days, and Let's Go as well. Gonna make a new list soon with Tomorrow Never Comes, their very first ep, and the B-Sides and C-Sides record added to it
my ranking: 1 Life Won't Wait 2 And Out Come The Wolves 3 Self titled 2000 4 Let's Go 5 Indestructible 6 Trouble maker 7 Self titled 1993 8 Honor is All We Know 9 Let the Dominoes Fall 10 Tomorrow Never Comes

Honor is All We Know Yes, I'm ranking your last place pick ahead of your first place pick, although to be fair, the top 5 are all VERY close for me, and there are really no skips on any of them.
And out come the wolves is my favorite, best written album. Lets go after that and B Sides and C Sides equally. I do love life wont wait too and the 2000 album.
I listened to Rancid starting with 2000. That’s probably why it’s one of my favorites. My top three are Wolves, LWW, and 2000. The new one is solid. Probably top five for me. Life Won’t Wait is probably the best album but not my favorite.
I get where you’re coming from on the 2000 s/t album. Felt the same way at first but the older I get and listening to some acoustic versions, its grown on me a lot. Still “meh” on 1/2 of the album but it’s got a few gems too
Rancid 2000 to me isn’t them trying its them doing what they want. I think after Life Won’t wait they wanted to cut some of the fat. I did enjoy you lost. Also love the new rancid album! Forever will be a favorite band
Rancid 2000 is absolutely my least favorite as well. It is challenging for me to even get thru and just isnt what Rancid IS. Im fine with it, it doesnt offend me when a band tries other stuff but when i turn it on, its bc its my civic duty to listen every couple years I was 17 and like you said, I already had in my head what Rancid was It was a shocker

Buuu Rancid 2000 is a fucking bomb!!!
you are goddamn right man.
And out come the wolves is my favorite, best written album. Lets go after that and B Sides and C Sides equally. I do love life wont wait too and the 2000 album.

well its your list so I cant get angry at your subjective thoughts, but I gotta completly disagree with you about the 2000 record. its in my top 3.
Even the 2000 b-sides are great.
And first album is the best.....wanted to name my daughter Adina......she's named Ramona....
Gotta disagree with Honor is all we know. That's my least favorite Rancid record but personal is just that so respect.
I get where you’re coming from on the 2000 s/t album. Felt the same way at first but the older I get and listening to some acoustic versions, its grown on me a lot. Still “meh” on 1/2 of the album but it’s got a few gems too
