Vasari plasters can be applied inside showers in place of tile. They can be applied in any texture
sheen or color. A smoother finish is ideal for superior water proofing. Lime plaster shower systems are sometimes traditionally referred to as 'Tadelakt'.
Our coatings are made from natural lime, finely crushed limestone, powdered marble, pigments and eco-friendly binders. Lime plasters have been used for thousand of years throughout the world for beauty, longevity and health. They are the perfect architectural finish.

Showering in style!! Plastering looks fun also
Looks like a great product if you have just want to admire it.
This has definitely caught my attention
Plan change for a shower. Can I use this product over green board that’s been taped and primed in a shower.?
Very interesting.
Amazing!
I understand ceiling prevent staining , but it ends that if it was unsealed , it would absorb moisture better..is this correct
Will Vasari Mastercoat adhere to a Schluter Ditra Membrane?
Amazing!!!! Thank you so much for video 🙏🏻👍🏻🤗☀️😇
I love it! I want to use this in my RV bathroom shower. Tiles weigh too much. I cannot add so much weight to my RV with wall to wall tile + thinset + grout. This looks like a great solution, paired off with lightweight Kerdiboard for waterproofing. What is the prognosis for using this in an RV bathroom? Very few showers and water exposure, but lots of vibrations and movement in RV.
I did tile the bathroom floor (not shower) in my RV, and used Polymer in both thinset and grout and not one mosaic tile has popped out in 5 yrs. Clings like glue. I badly want to use this for the shower stall walls (3 sides). Please advise.
Hello did you ever do this to your RV? I am thinking of doing the same 😊
Hi! Updates on using it in the RV? Please let me know!
Can you add on top of fiberglass?
Not recommended for countertops? Which type, all countertops laminate, quarts, formica?
Is it flexible?…could it be used in a tiny house that travels?
Is Vasari elastomeric primer a waterproofing membrane? Can Laticrete Hydro Ban be used in place of Vasari elastomeric primer?
Can this be applied on existing tiles?
We wouldn't recommend coating a tile surface without first sanding and applying a latex primer, followed by a plaster primer, then your plaster. Hope this helps!
But can you go over plastic tiles?
Hello! For tile surfaces (including plastic), we recommend sanding, adding a latex primer, then a plaster primer, and then plaster. Hope this helps!
I need this ASAP!! contact info
Why don't you recommend thinseting the mesh tape before waterproofing?
Because thinset will almost always eventually crack through as it cures. You will have hairline cracks that will come though months later. Even if it's really well primed. Thinset is only good for tile. It's possible that some thinsets are less sensitive, but I havent found one yet.
@@countzero9042 If you mix Polymer with the thinset, it rubberizes it. No more cracks. I used it in my RV, and 5 yrs later, not one tile popped out. I also use a polymer in the grout and avoid using a sealant over grout as it is built in.
Mastercoat
Wax is not waterproof
Yes it is, Bozo
Haha it will never be waterproof
I can't pass through the halfway mark of this vid because the "music" busts my balls so much I can't take it. good try. Will seek another source.
