This is the last song my big brother sang to me a month before he passed away. That was our thing jus to drive n sing along with what ever came on. Now I cherish moments of us jus singing going down the road.

So much respect for this man! I feel like for a while in the past couple of years he got caught up in all of the new pop country trying to keep up with all of the new artists, but lately he has been back to his old, traditional country music and I LOVE IT! It's so classic, beautiful and although I love all of his songs, I prefer him this way. It's like he took a step back, realized what he really wanted in life and then came back to it.
i noticed the same thing. im glad he decided to keep it "counrty". songs like this always reminds me of my dad waking up early in the morning before the sun came up bringing me and my little brother to his construction job riding in his ford truck listening to country music similar to this as we were little and you know we liked it, it was quite in that truck my dad didnt talk much but the music and the moment will always stand in my memory.

I love the lyrics, the tempo, the vocals, and the steel guitar! Tim is now releasing some of the best songs of his entire career! Sure, he has had some missteps -- some bad judgments ("Truck Yeah" is the black mark of his career). But, he has proven why he will one day be included among the legendary performers in country music history. Keep it up, Tim!

Aren't these lyrics fantastic! Tim always picks out songs with great lyrics. None of his songs ever sound the same. I like his style of mixing down home country with a new style that seems to be his own. Don't care what he sings, I always enjoy listening, "country" or not.

Tim proved many times that he really can put out GREAT country songs, like this one.
That's why I'm completely puzzled when he come sout with crap like TRUCK YEAH and LOOKIN' FOR THAT GIRL.
By the way his last 3 singles (Meanwhile Back At Mama's, Shotgun Rider and this one) are really really good.
Keep putting out singles like these and you'll go far. You don't need to sell out with bro-country and/or metro-country crap tracks!
Tim has three teenage daughters.. If you have teenagers then you should know they love this kind of music..Especially if you are a teen and from Nashville.. I think he did this for the generation..If you are in the music business you have to keep up with the times.. Face it.. George Jones, Tammy, Johnny Cash and a few of those are gone now.. Little of my generation even know who these people were.. Luckily, I'm from Tennessee and have Grown up listening to them... Not being critical here.. Just give the man a chance.. NO matter what he brings to the table he is good ..
