This is that kind of music when a woman likes country and the guy likes rap but the two combine genres mixing it up together and you get this classic song. Amazing!
Using the term 'other' implies that Tim McGraw is a group. Nonetheless, it was obvious what the person meant and pointing out that Tim McGraw is a solo artist was unnecessary.

So I come here, learning new knowledge and simply enjoying it
This has always been one of the humblest bittersweet songs for the art form the combinations of artists intended it to be. It wasn't aimed to end racism or to make country/hip hop mainstream. Nelly was waaaaayyyyy ahead of his time. This joint was smooth as hell
I love this song
Hell yeah it is!! And in listened to Hip Hop. Lyricism and all but I always rocked with Nelly. He had his own lane and this was my jam
And still is
He’s releasing a country album/mixtape soon
I disagree, this song was perfect for its time
This was a genius collab..
This is that kind of music when a woman likes country and the guy likes rap but the two combine genres mixing
it up together and you get this classic song. Amazing!
For me, I'm the guy who's into country. But yes, I agree completely.
Mickie Nope
This proves that no matter who we are or the color of our skin that we are all the same inside an go through all the same things.
Bc of we’re human. I really don’t like people hate each other by religion. We’re talking different languages, so call the God and Devils different.
Exactly 💯
I agree ☝️ 💯
Not necessarily especially if we being technical.

This should have been on the Billboard Country Charts!!
Facts
PracticalMinimalist it was....
PracticalMinimalist #1 on 11/20/2004
It’s not even a country song it’s just nelly. Why is it country.. just cuz Tim McGraw is in it? The sound the lyrics are nothing about country
You people are sooooo young lol....this was on the top of billboard when it came out lol
2024 and still an absolute banger what a song
❤😂❤
You can almost understand why these young kids crank it up till the windows rattle. 😂😂
Nelly was ahead of his time. He literally invented the country rap genre 20 years before it became commonplace. This song is a classic.
Don't think he was the first but definitely a great to do it.
I dont think he was the first to do it but he is one of the first to do it GOOD
Still rocking this in 2020, represent!!
Its not 2020 :)
Antiwan T what
Lmao it is 2020 😂😂😂
Hell yeah!
me so many memories
These two need to make another song again to fix everything going on rn
If only it were that simple. If only Pac would have done it with Changes and mj and all them
Ian Fechhelm yes! I agree!
Right
My fav song 14 years later. Nelly don't get the credit he deserves
I was obsessed with this song and listened to it over and over. I still know all the lyrics to this day.
I love this song it make me think about my sister she is with Jesus now

Mee!!!
Man 2k16 nearly 2k17 and this song is still great
I remember watching this video as a child and it always stuck with me
I used to hear this song on the radio all the time when i was little, I finally found it again, I didn't know Tim McGraw sang this with Nelly!
+× Big Bad Osiris × saaaaaaaaaame
Same here. Lol!
what is the other country group nelly cut a single with?
+MIKE GALLEGOS Florida Georgia Line is the other group
Using the term 'other' implies that Tim McGraw is a group. Nonetheless, it was obvious what the person meant and pointing out that Tim McGraw is a solo artist was unnecessary.
Funny, I click on this song and haven't listened to it in forever... And the words just spill out of my mouth like I listened to it yesterday.
Haha, true... Same here!!! Loved this collaboration!!!
AOKBC it’s funny how that works
That’s how u know it’s a classic
Facts lol
It be like that sometimes
Nelly and Tim McGraw were ahead of their time. Best genre duo ever. 👍
How when they made 1 song together lol
@@stancegang7334 1 song can make a huge difference. I haven't heard any good hip-hop/country ever since.
You actually think the artist write the songs and decide who is in them?..LOL
@@bobczz3919 never said that
I wanna buy me truck , wearing a cowboy hat and listening this country.🤠🤠🤠⭐⭐⭐
Since 2004 this rap/country cross and collaboration have so many people listening "Over And Over Again" even in the present day of October 2024! When legends from different genres come together to produce music, songs/videos such as these will be the legacy. This combination classic has over 200 million YT views.
This song still smooth and classic. Never gets old. Who's here listening under quarantine?

Rey Agura Nelly was on one
Oveer and Overrrrrrr Again........

You know we are.
If you still play this in this era, then you've got good taste in music, cheers🥂. Saddens me that they don't make music like this anymore but luckily we've got back up for these golden oldies🥰🥰

October stillll
October hahaha
This song was way ahead of its time
This is very much a product of it's time and genre. It's not ahead of anything, besides its competition that year
@@hartincmajor202 you missed the point of my comment but ok
So a few days ago I got one of tim mcgraw's greatest hits album, and this song played and it caught me off guard, because I had listened to this song as a kid in the hip hop radio station and I never knew who exactly sang it.
Nelly was a familiar name, but Tim. Mcgraw was the name I have never heard of because I grew up in an environment with mostly spanish, hip hop and rock. So I come here, learning new knowledge and simply enjoying it
Nelly has done so many collaborative songs and he doesn't get enough credit he's good I wish they would play this stuff from early 2000's more
I'll always love Nelly ❤️
His music will never get old 💯
This duo was meant to be done together 😊
Hello megg.. how are you doing?
Amen 🙏 haluah
You got to give Tim props too🎉
This has always been one of the humblest bittersweet songs for the art form the combinations of artists intended it to be. It wasn't aimed to end racism or to make country/hip hop mainstream. It was made of feelings and a story of sad and sweet... Feelings we all can have evoked within us rwgardless of any walk of life if/when we are exposed to circumstances in life that cause heartache
I see Ciara's all over. Did she and Nelly have something to do?

@@geodadi that's a shame. That you think you're so bad, like a fallen angel or something. What haunted object landed at your feet? Just asking for a friend..........

This is the greatest video ever… to me it shows who we are as a people… we are different in our styles but the same… I just l love everything about this video!
the absolute beauty of this song is stunning. 2 opposite genre's well blended, and complimenting one another. 2 opposite individuals complementing one another. This song is a master piece.
Josiah Knoedler I couldn't have said it better myself.
Go outside
Well stated!
agreed
*A-MEN TO THAT, Josiah!*
The original country / rap collaboration
I actually don't think this is the 1st one either but it's the 1st to become a hit though
Alabama and nsync
@@ryandunakey2673 nsync was NOT rap. They were considered Pop. Also the radio edit without them sounded better on that song. Nothing against Nsync in general, but they were a bit of a mess with God must have spent a little more time on you or at least with the collaboration(never heard a version of just them, maybe they could have done good together).
🐿
@Anish अनिश् Aerosmith was rock. I mean I get they Don't want to miss a thing and that was covered by a Country artist, but Aerosmith was a rock band.
black and white together.its what we all need.together forever.

Joey..i agree😆😆😆😆

Yes!! BLK and wht makes me feel like life is good when we get together!!🥺😢
I hate being melancholic, but this was probably my father's favorite song. Hearing this will be one of my biggest reminders of him.
I miss you, dad.
Please rest easy.

I’m sorry for your loss, May God guide you in your healing 🤍

I swear this song doesn't get enough credit. A Country Singer & Hip-Hop Artist collaboration? A Hip-Hop/County fusion. This is a groundbreaking moment for Hip-Hop. This song is equivalent to Run DMC & Areosmith Hip-Hop/Rock fusion.
First of all its not ground breaking lol it was done before this song it's just this one was truly the best and was received the best
J Cole Huh? This is groundbreaking! My years living on this earth I NEVER seen a country artist & hip-hop artist collaboration. I love when a hip-hop artist do something out the un-ordinary.
+Melody Brown I also love the song Nelly has with the country group florida- Georgia line. That's also a good one.
+J Cole snoop and ole willie did it before, if I'm not mistaken
