I remember eagerly awaiting the release of this game. I was always keen to see how much more of the house was accessible, and this game did not disappoint!
Also I have to be honest, I have NEVER beate this game without cheats. This is the only Tomb Raider besides Revelations that I just cant beat legitimately.
I'm surprised it is still impossible to finish the last level without killing Willard, despite all the advanced triggering techniques that were discovered in recent years. Great run, nevertheless. Congrats!
His one hit attack can't get Lara if she's above him so high and on top of a platform, such as those jutting ledges used to climb up and out of the hole. The gate remains closed up top though, so it'll have to be glitched through to continue. Using Gameshark cheats is pretty much the only way to get past him, else you won't be quick enough to evade his one hit kill.
Them level skips tho, would've been real handy when we had this game when it just came out! Who knew you could skip the entirety of Thames Wharf from that little slanted alcove on the rooftops??
developers: we have to put formidable threats and traps in the game ... oh and also puzzles that make you run around for a long time! speed-runner: nope

it actually is possible to finish the level without killing willard but it´s too resource-heavy to be of use in a speedrun :P
That and it is very unreliable. Willard can ohko Lara unpredictably. It might take even more time than just killing him.

Great job! That quad segment was really well done too. It's unfair that it glitched you through the floor though and you had to do the treetops again.
