So for this you have to fight the tormented one and since you dont want to lose a party member go outside the temple where the time machine is turn it on then find a hole (not the one in the temple) throw a rock down it should make a thud saying its safe then drop down go in the middle where there's a tube get some black goop and use the tube to make a clone then go back to those chains in the temple to start skinning your clone (and using the time machine it should be dark)
