You should improve the usb blocker to block malicious overvoltage/overcurrent protection for the device. would make it perfect for use in busses. i do not trust public usb ports cause of overvoltage.
If you wanted you could make it like a usb voltage checker where you can turn off data or power and see what is going through the adapter.

Can you make one with Dipswitches to manually en/disable certain pins?
would be interresting to have a "smart" usb C blocker that would ask the phone for how much it wants and then forward that to the charger without ever having the phone and the charger talk directly.
You should short the data lines to at least enable 5v 2A charging.

The power blocker one is awesome for use in wired mode CarPlay/Android auto because, in theory, you could use it without destroying your battery

Could have added a 4 way DIP switch so you can select what you want to connect.

I just use a usb cable without data cables
or you can just use a power only cable

Can someone tell me where I go to learn how to set it up. I have scripts but dunno how to use them 😢 it has wifi but I can’t connect so I’m owner of a $55 usb stuck that shows up as a faulty drive when plugged in. Would really appreciate some information out. We sort this frustrating issue out.
