For those playing on 1.19 and having difficulties, try doing this. Follow what silentwisperer did but make all the repeaters, except for the repeater BEHIND THE OBSERVER, 1 tick (aka, leave it as it is). Make the repeater behind the observer 2 ticks (hit that repeater once). It worked for me. If this did not work, try changing the ticks of the repeater as recommended by silentwisperer.
I use the pocket edition of bedrock, and I did not add the modification that allows the farm to be used for tall flowers.
Edit: (April 23,2023) Bedrock's redstone mechanics are nasty
Still doesn’t work for me
Had issues too, tried changing repeater ticks it was still more often than not not working. Put a block between levers to stand on for easier planting on both levels, that was most helpful for me.
Feel like having double layered dispensers isn't that practical with the way repeaters are, also god forbid any other redstone runs near this...
Bottom line, I get far fewer hiccups from a 0 tick kelp spewer, I only sometimes need to replant one of kelp plants if I forget this thing runs and walk away or run some other redstobe heavy machinery.
I tried your adjustments, dispensers still not dispensing, RIP, like you said, Bedrock redstone be janky 😅

Hey I recognize that bamboo farm behind you in this tutorial. I needed more bamboo to make scaffolding for fuel. Between the iron farm and a quick spider spawner farm I have ways to get enough string quick enough. My wishlist is for a small basic mob farm with water flushing and a trash can to go on the end of item sorters. I’m going to give up for advent calendar on this but would love if sometime next year you did a redstone basics series for bedrock. At the end of each episode you could give the viewer a challenge build that uses a technique in the video and a week later you could go over your solution. Things like what clocks are reliable in bedrock, how to use a comparator in regular or subtract mode, what on earth is a t flip flop etc
Loving these tutorials, I've taken over a large village in my world and am building a different farm in each house! XD
So, I tried to use this farm, but all it seemed to do was eat up my bonemeal; I didn't have any more carrots, or wheat, or any other crop that I tried, after I finished testing than I did when I started. Why is that?
This works great for sweet berries too! Just set the farm to two high flower mode and replace the tilled farm land with regular dirt or grass.
I love the recent small farms. Keep it up!

Thanks for the tutorial again silent! I built this on a realm and was having problems with lag, so I decided to wire the machine up to a 6-tick clock which fixed the problem.

Those of you having problems with the crop simply breaking, extend your repeater to 4 ticks and plant the crop when the dirt block is raised
How do u do that
Once the repeater is extended all the way out the block should be moving pretty slowly. Just click as its stopping in the upper position.
I've noticed that it doesn't work on my realm if there are more than 4 players on
I’m asking this question so I can tinker a bit but why can’t I plant the crop when the dirt is down

the very first thing you should make even before you go mining for diamond is make a stray farm for wither skulls and make an automatic wither killer.

Fun fact: did you know in Bedrock edition, ink sacs traded from traveling merchants cannot be used at all... for trading or for dyeing.
I was confused why my ink sacs did not stack with those from a squid and is unable to make dark prismarine.

I like the smaller tutorials! This farm will be great to tuck into a corner of my base. I'd love to see a simple, small-to-mid-scale concrete converter if you have a chance. I want to start building with concrete but I don't need ridiculous amounts of the stuff right now in my single player world.
You should make a fully auto brewer ! Where you would input the empty glass bottles & ingredients and it would output the desired potions automatically :) Just an idea !

Idk where you make these designs but they sure aswell work, one thing on my christmas calender is a 4-way or even 2-way flying machine that is consistent and preferably doesnt need to replace blocks to turn, if you can do that it'd be a huge step in bedrock flying machines as most designs are inconsistant

The carrots don’t get grown. The piston just breaks it and I end up with the same carrot that I started with
Built this on 12/4/23, it works on bedrock realms but only when all repeaters are set to 4 ticks. better than planting by hand for sure
i just finished this farm on my world. the crop is not bone-mealed although the dispenser spends the bone meal. i only receive the single crop back. anybody else having this issue?
Same, when the dirt moves it pushes off the crop and does nothing

New to your page and was in need of potatoes for the villager breeder of yours I am building. This should do the trick haha
for everyone on realms put the bottom repeater at 3 ticks and the redstone clock at 4 ticks this worked for me with lower rates but functioning

for some reason my crops arent growing at all . When i turn on the farm and start placing my crops i just keep getting the same amount of crops back .

Bottom dispensers aren't firing for some reason. Went through entire farm and it isn't working. Top dispensers are though. On a realm

i found a jungle wood at the front makes this thing do cocoa too :P and if u have another one next to it w grass you get berries :o super adaptable farm

If you turn the stair to face the other way, you don't flood and wash away the Redstone when you forget and remove the soil to retrieve seeds (reliant on having a block on the other side (though sticking a sign on it saying "WET" should work i think?

Mine works in the tall flower mode just fine, be it that I have to destroy the crop manually to get it's resource. It wont work on it's original setting for me though which is the quick way which destroys it for you. Any suggestions?

So, I'm not mad, but you should open with the fact that it probably won't work on Realms. I build as you tutorialize, because I just know your stuff works, so to build the whole thing, then be told that it probably won't work on a realm. Is frustrating. You were right, it didn't work.
Regardless, the tutorial was easy to follow and is nice and compact. Useless to me, but it's fine.
Please can you make an auto wood farm (ps the auto fish farm doesn’t work for PS4 because when you hold down the left trigger it works but when you get shifted down you have to re hold the left trigger)
I would like to see a weeping/twisting vine farm and a nether wart farm
Pretty sure you can use one observer, 1 piston and 1 Redstone dust for 2 of the farms but as for the nether wart farm may I suggest using a 2 way flying machine?
P.S you have to plant nether wart manually unfortunately

The bonemeal seems to be only dispensing out of the top layer of dispensers. The bottom 3 dispensers don't lose any bonemeal, any tips?

Sorry to bug you, but nothing seems to grow when using this - i get the hopper up and down, a couple of particles, but no growth on carrots or seeds - i end up with the same number i started with. I checked below and it seems to be working fine.

Same for me. I had to slow it down significantly. 3 ticks on the bottom repeater and 4 ticks on the one behind. Still only grows crops at the top
@silentwisperer I found a bug where if you mine a block(I used netherack) it burns you even if the block is gone.
If you play on a very laggy world like me, you should reduce the clock frequency by adding another repeater in sequence to the one under the observer and set them both to 3 ticks

Heres a tip: connect the hoppers from a bone meal farm into the micro farm
