- After taking command of an intense airlift, and dealing with the ugliest Electra load he's ever seen, Scott takes a scary fall on the icy tarmac. City girl Christine moves to Yellowknife to give the unglamorous rampie life a shot, firebrand mechanic Chuck returns to the Buffalo hangar and immediately stirs the pot, while Joe helps out an old friend, "Ice Road Trucker" Alex Debogorski.

Buffalo Airways is an airline based in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, Canada. They mainly fly WWII-era piston powered propeller planes in minus 40 degrees and land on tiny strips of tarmac in the tundra.

I worked for a 135 operator in Alaska throughout the 90's, and this is exactly like those operations, lots of skilled dedicated people, who will sometimes disagree and fight, but will come together for a very difficult job in some of the most harsh environments on the whole planet.
Oh yeah! Nothing like a good ol friendly fight, have an adult beverage, shake hands and get back at er !

Scott's concussion is very clear to see I know they wanted to get home and all but you can see in his eye's, the way he's wobbling around and when he's talking 3 clear signs of the concussion.

I love the Buffalo fleet and the program but surely it would have made better economic sense to have at least 2 large modern freighters as part of their entire fleet and move at least some of the high maintenance borderline dangerous planes on? Still keep a couple of classics though.
