My wife was dating a friend of mine and she called one evening to ask if she could ride the back roads with me because she knew I would have a cooler of cold brewski's.I said sure and picked her up in my 67 Camaro SS and enjoyed each other's friendship.3 months later I got my first kiss, after dating for 5 years we were married. 2 years later our son was born and 28 years later our Grand daughter was born and 1-25-2023 we will be married 37 years. And as for the friend she was dating, we remained friends till he passed away, RIP Cookie!!
Met me wife in a pub here in Ireland. She was on the campaign trail. Wanting to know the needs of the farmers. We got to talking, and still talking 27 years later. She is still very much into politics up in Dublin. Me, well I am a dirty, filthy and stinking farmer. But I do on a very few occasions bust out the lye, the bleach and the industrial power washer to get cleaned up for events where I need to be in attendance with her. I have trained her in all aspects of farming. The pub where we met is where I proposed to her, and got married in as well. You see, besides working the long days out on the farm and in the fields; the pubs are the social centres of the communities / parish. Want to know what 'Little" Johnny is doing, speak to the bartender, and or the Priest which you can find at the pub. LOL
I loved the pubs when I visited Ireland. So much fun!
@@conradnelson5283 Glad you had fun! Our doors are always open! 🙂
I hope someday to visit thoughts pubs! I'm American Irish , I'd love to see where my ancestors called home before they got kicked out! Lolol
I shouldn't do this but I'm assuming the priest is Catholic? I think I'll go to confession in the USA before I visit Ireland LOL.!
Damn man... you make me want to watch YOUR youtube channel!
I was invited to a party by a girl I knew thru Junior Achievement - she had designs on another guy & wanted to pawn me off on his date. It worked out for her and at age 17, on a blind date, I met my future bride. We had 54 years of good life before she was taken by cancer. It's been 3 years this month & I miss her more every day. You never know what bumps and potholes this road we take thru life will come next so enjoy every day with your partner as if it is your first and last.
Met my husband under very unfortunate circumstances. His 14 year old brother drowned and they didn’t have a funeral home in the little ranching community where his family lived. His aunt and uncle lived next door to us so that was their ‘headquarters’ during the pre funeral and funeral. Very sad time but when I was introduced to him there was an instant connection! We’ve been married for 53 years and counting….
Sorry for your loss but when God closes 1 door he often opens another.
Gods plans are not ours ❤
If they are gods plans , well he can keep them .
Everyone has there own opinion. They are entitled to it as you are entitled to yours.
My wife and I met and fell madly in "like" when we were in the 3rd Grade. We married when we were 19y/o and celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary this August.
Got a job on LaCrosse Fire Department(fresh off the farm) and moved in to my apartment. She lived next door, I invited her over for pizza and were together every day after that. God thought it best to take her to be with him in 2011, Carol was the best lady that I ever knew. Best 26 years I had
My wife and I both came off dairy farms when we met we got to talking about farming and we discovered that there was a Massey Ferguson Dealer not to far from our place . In the early 80's when he started his dealership he sold 2 Brand new 1085 Massey Ferguson tractors to a farmer on the east side of the river and a farmer on the west side of the river . Well one happen to be her dad and the one was to my dad and this was about 10 years before we even new each other . They still have those tractors and still use them to this day . We both left the farm for other careers because they had enough help . My wife lost her battle with cancer 11 years ago so I raised are daughter since she was 9 , she is 20 now and I could not be prouder of her career choice . She is going to school to become an Agronomist . I am one proud Dad. We both love watching you guys , Thank You so Very Much . P.S. I was watching one of your older video's and got with the Henway joke like 3 times in one week .
lol henway
Met my wife at a kegger bonfire the first night of college at BJC in Bismarck. Happily married for 40 years now.
I didn't know it at the time but my wife found me at a 4-H dress review. She had 'designs' on something else besides dresses. I was 17 and soooo clueless. 73 now, still married and like Brian, I am grateful for that - most days. I married up!
45 - 46 years ago while in the navy and working at a Naval Comm Center in San Diego, one of my watch standers let a young redhead seamen in the front door. Took one look and told myself that she was mine, yea I know... We have now been married for 43 years, have four kids, 14 grand kids and 5 g grand kids. Who would have thunk it?
How I met My Wife: She and I were both in the U.S. Air Force and we had both been stationed at different bases in South Korea. We had been there, overlapping, 11 of the same 12 months from '98-'99. I knew some of her friends and she knew some of mine, but we never met in Korea. We both ended up stationed in Las Vegas, NV after Korea and a 3rd common friend introduced us to each other after we had both been there about 6 months. We dated for about 2 years and have been happily married for almost 21 years now.
The phone call from the place where you rented the suits from caused a memory to surface. Everything was going fairly smoothly for our wedding 55 years ago. When one of the ring bearers arrived at the church, we found out that a bow tie was missing. . . . oops. So, I phoned the place where we had rented the suits in Saskatoon. Everything was cool until the salesman asked when the wedding was taking place. I replied, "In about 45 minutes." 😮 That got his attention. . . . "Where, where, where is the church?" 🤣 The bow tie arrived in time. . . . By the way, at our daughter's wedding on July 4th in Oklahoma, the florist left the flowers in the church fridge. They were frozen. The florist got more flowers to the church before the ceremony started. 😊 As they say, "No worries." So Cole, . . . you too will have lots of memories with Tiffany.
I needed to get my car painted and all my neighbors recommended my now husband. When I got to his shop I said to myself "glad I do not have to wash his clothes." and 3 weeks later we were engaged and have been married 38 years!!Yea
three weeks?

Met my wife backstage at the local civic theater. I came in as a last minute replacement actor in a show called “You Can’t Take it With You”. But I did! Been married 32 years! Beautiful woman!
Meet my wife at high school dance. 50 yrs ago. Still love her more today than ever.
Was working as an EMT bring patients to the ER. Wife was working in ER. She said yes to a date and we have been married 25yrs now
we met at a dance club. I asked her to dance and she said NO. I was dumbfounded. I didn't give up and asked the next song, she said yes and 34 years later she still says yes. She must be nuts..lol
My hubby was my college accounting professor. I was a late bloomer, getting married in my 20s, almost finished raising 3 children( the youngest was 8) then going back to school when i was 40. I was divorced by that time, and going thru nursing school. Unbeknownst to me, my accounting professor was watching me. Asked questions after class about my goals. Eventually i switched majors, cuz i couldnt quit my job to finish rotations. Three months after i graduated,i get a phone call from him, asking me out to lunch. I went(although i was nervous- once bitten twice shy sort of thing) and we have been inseparable ever since. Got married 2 years later and will celebrate our 21st anniversary in January. He was almost 60, never married, and i was 47 and a grandmother of 3! Been the best years of my life!
Yes my husband set my mobile home up and asked me out. I said no but my sister and niece told me to go. Dinner was good. Walked on beach and rode a roller coaster. Rest is history. Lol 😆 ❤
Cole, you and your wife to be need to know that it is absolutely not a problem to have any color cabinets you like. It is your house, your money is paying for it, and you will be looking at them. Do what makes you happy.😊😊😊😊
Graduated and went to work that summer at a camp in Colorado. About 3 weeks into the summer I got a letter from a principal concerning a teaching job that i had applied for and forgot. The letter had come to the college, been forwarded to my parents house, and then forwarded to me at camp 1000 miles away from home. I went up to his home and interviewed for the job, met his daughter, didn't get the job, and married the daughter. That was 50 years ago and we are still together with 3 grown children, 7 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. Now let Cole top that!!!!!
Great story!
@@briansonne814 Guess I picked a good one because she hasn't killed me yet!!!

I went on staff at a church in Virginia in 2013. The lead pastors daughter came home from college a couple years later and we started hanging out and I ended up marrying my bosses daughter. Now we are pastoring a church in Texas.

Hey where have you been hiding that old nasher Brian? its lovely.
So Cole, I wanted to forward my appreciation for the continued video's at a time when you are busy with wedding stuff...I know how stressful and time consuming that nuptial stuff is so to keep editing and posting content is massively appreciated, by myself and I am sure all of your other subs. Its a good job you have family to call on at times of need and luckily for you all Tiff is there to steer you all in the right direction.
Good luck to both Tiff and yourself on your future married life together, I am sure you will have a ball along the way!
Frosty.
Picked her up on a street corner. She hated the evening. Celebrating 50 years of marriage next April. What a ride!
I met my husband when we were 14 in Alateen. My dad and his mom decided to check into treatment center. We met in the teen group. He is my soulmate. We are 50 now.
I hope the red tractor is your ride to the wedding Brian. That would be priceless.
Wife and I met at a charity snowmobile ride. I was on the ride, she swung through the small town bar after getting a tattoo with friends. She didn't show me the tattoo that night but I was bound and determined to find it!
I needed a partner in a jack and Jill pool tournament and my buddy introduced me to my wife and we partnered up for this pool tournament….and we ended up winning the tournament. A week ago was our 24th anniversary.
Wow guys, I can't believe how all 3 of the brothers look so much alike!!! Paw...you grow some good lookin men...lol I met my Husband at my job. I was the executive secretary to the Manager and my Husband Trevor was the number 1 Salesman in the Company. He would deliver the money he collected throughout the day. It was love at first site for both of us. We were married 2 weeks after we met and have been joyfully married for 42 years! You'll love being married Cole...believe me.
I called the cops on my wife and her roommate. They were blaring their stereo very loud. My roommate and I lived in the apartment above them and we left notes on several occasions asking them to turn down the loud music. Finally our frustration lead us to call the police. Two years later were married.
my wife and I grew up just a few miles away from each other...but were in different school districts. Sp, while we were aware of each other, we never dated until... Our mothers were at some function together and one says to the other.."our kids should get together, they's make a nice couple" That was 52 years ago. We celebrated our 50th this past July
Brian doing the finger guns when opening the gate 🤣 and then smiling of joy when on the Farmall at the end 👌 It's the small moments like those that I appreciate the most
me too!
I met my husband at work. We're both auto mechanics. We met at a BMW dealership shop.
Met my wife 45yrs ago when she needed a ride home from the homecoming parade when we was in high school.
Tammy was wise in her choice of husbands and both of you have raised a beautiful family! I got the whole marriage thing figured out the second time around. I was the owner of a construction company and I met my sweet hubby because I HIRED HIM! ha ha ha! He was the greatest lead carpenter I've ever known. And now? 25 years later? I couldn't be more grateful for this cowboy-carpenter-jack-of-all-trades man in my life. Cole, it will all work out and dont let your special day be ruined by anything or anyone! If you all have to show up wearing your pajamas!? Just do it with joy and gratefulness for the beautiful new union between the two of you and your families. 🥰
Very well said. I agree totally 100%👍
I love it… Sheet hauling and sheet jokes. Brothers helping brothers and DAD doing his thing. Great video.
Yes, I do have a story about how I met my husband. We both have a little person friend from 2 different parts of the state and they both belonged to the Little People of America club and they took us to one of their National meetings close by and when He left for the day he told his friend that he was going to marry me. So since we were 2 hours apart from each other. We only saw each other on the weekend just one day (Saturday) and we did this for 1 year and then I decided to move to his place since he just bought a 1st time house before he met me. Then a couple days later we were married by a judge and we are still together after 36 years and 2 sons aged 35 and 31. Also on the tractor side, my husband has a 1946 H Farmall with an M&W conversion kit in the transmission that he bought 23 years ago because he had to fix the 3rd gear and our neighbor helped him to do a new paint job when he got finished with fixing the gear. We do not live on a farm, he bought it to mow our newly purchased land of 4 acres so we can build a house and we have lived here ever since and he still has the tractor.
I was sitting in a horseshoe shaped booth of maxed capacity restaurant with a group of guys after closing a body shop one night. The restaurant had every single seat in the place occupied. My wife came in the place and headed past our table to the restroom, looking for a vacant table as she meandered toward the ladies room. She used the restroom, and began to meander toward the door. I stopped her and asked her if she was looking for a place to sit down. She gave me the look of expectation of sarcasm and mentioned the thought had crossed her mind. I shoved the guy sitting next to me out of the booth and informed her she could sit with me. She did. That was 1997. I have to ask myself regularly why she didn't just keep moving toward the door and just go to the Taco Bell drive through since they were open that late.
U must have been lucky that she didn't if you have been together that long
I met my wife at a cattle show/fair, went on a few show rides and been together ever since, and still show cattle, Angus of course.
of course!
My Dad was going to buy a new manure spreader but the deal fell through when Dad couldn't get the salesman to say he'd stand behind his product.
While it was full and running? Lolol

My mom threw my wife’s baby shower. It was the next thing to an arranged marriage. Been married 18 years now and love her more today
I met my wife there in night school and we learned that your grandmother had teach my my father how to play the piano, the we learned that the wife grandfather had done knee surgery on the same father and the same wife aunt had worked in my grandmother restaurant
I have watched a South Dakota sunrise except it was in South Carolina same sun is all I'm saying LOL
Oh My, Brian, Is that a Farmall MD ⁉️ It's a real pretty one. Pete at Just A Few Acres Farm has a great collection of vintage tractors and I just love watching him restore them. They look so beautiful gliding through the fields with the sickle bar cutting the grass. Congratulations on owning a fine piece of 'Red Engineered Goodness'😜
I met my former husband at work. He ran into my car with a full, 4 carriage luggage loader, at the ferry terminal we both worked at. He done a fair bit of damage in hitting my car. I forgave him though... we got together and I married him 10 years later but its a pity he never stopped the addiction to doing damage over the years. Yeah I learned my lesson there.🤨 Cole has made better choices than I did in choosing a partner in life though...so has Tiffany❗💞💖👍God bless you both. X
You're all doing a great job on the kitchen ....it'll be beautiful for Tiffany and Cole to make great memories in this new house. We'll done Sonne Brothers.👏👍🥰

I met my wife at work we worked at the nursing home in the kitchen she was putting silver ware on trays and turned around I saw her and fell in love we were married 34 year when we lost her to cancer thankyou Brian !!! We had a wonderful life together and you will too Cole
When it comes to remodeling get what you like. Don’t worry about what’s popular or in changes all the time anyway. I think the cabinets look very nice !!🙋♀️😊
Cole, as a cabinet designer and salesperson in Ohio, I can tell you white cabinets are still very popular. Easily the most requested color at my store..
I agree. Plus without direct sunlight in your kitchen it will turn into a dungeon..
Brightens a room up a little bit
WOW ... AN ADDED BONUS ... Farmall M ... greatest tractor for the greatest generation ....
I met my husband on a military chat site. We had so much in common and when he needed a friendly voice one night I contacted him. He returned the favour a few weeks later when I was visiting Yorkshire. We've been inseparable ever since. I sold my home in Herefordshire and moved up to Yorkshire 20 years ago. We married 4 years later.
Congrats Robyn!
I met my current hubby at work. My EX-MIL got me the job with her friend. We have been together ever since 1986!
I had a car wreck and my girlfriend then brought her best friend and she been my wife for 49 plus years ❤

The man I married was introduced by a cousin. He was a senior in High School, working at the Tastee Freeze that summer we were once again in Albuquerque while Dad worked on teaching credits. Come to find out, I sat next to him in elementary school band 6 years earlier, when we were originally in Albuquerque & Dad was working on his Master's degree!
I bet those hunters had a wonderful day smelling all that fresh air in your part of the country, hope the winds were swirling
Have your brothers been working on there speeches for the wedding. Sure they will be hilarious. House is coming along really well
My wife is my foreman’s sister. He told her stay away from that gringo. She married me. So, she could be his boss. She has been bossing us around for 25 years. Best boss I ever had.
I met my wife at a sheriffs sale. She’s an attorney and I bought the farm. I’ve been paying for it ever since. 36 years now.
we have a winner
Don't worry if things don't go to plan they will make for stories for the rest of your life either that or to be held over you.
Mum and dad were married for just over 50 years and she still vividly remembers dad leaving her at the reception to the point even his mum was worried and was about to send his brothers after him as when he arrived back (he had got held up telling the fabricators and welders that he had in doing work in the sheds as well as the electrician what needed doing for while they were on their honeymoon which when they set off for they stopped off over night only to find that every hotel was booked within 30 miles as there was a convention on and so it took until midnight to find a B&B (£3 for two for the night) to stay at where on the first night of married life a chunk of it was spent with my dad chasing after a mouse with a shoe as he hadn't booked anywhere in advance when they got to the hotel they were hoping to stay at they didn't have a room available so they went up to Scotland for a few days.
When my dad was in hospital with terminal cancer they spent every moment they could remembering and joking about those moments.
It is the bumps that make life special.
Advices : your cabinets are what ever color you like! Oops excuse me. Tiffany likes! Haha!
That manure is flying in the wind, nothing like fertilizing the country side.
I really enjoyed watching all the brothers together, building cabinets, eating donuts, and telling a good Halloween joke.
I loved seeing Brian on the old Farmall tractor!!
Try not to be too nervous about getting hitched Cole, everything will fall into place and you will have a beautiful memory stuck in your head for the duration.
My wife was in grade 6 when we moved next door, its been 43 yrs since we were married
We met in the sky , flying from Kimberley to the beautiful Cape Town, South Africa, Those boys are doing great work on the cabinets
Brian, love the Farmall at the end!!
Went to school with wife she was 2 years behind me. Like the formal, we had a farmall B and H and a 906 International.
The only thing missing from that last shot was the theme from Green Acres playing LOL
Never been west of Harrisburg, Pa in 1976. Lived in eastern Pa on a Dairy farm. 19yrs old went to Kansas to work the wheat harvest. Went west to Arizona to start cutting wheat. The boss's niece came out after college finished for the year to drive truck. I met her at the grain elevator in Blyth, California. She has been my wife for 45yrs now.
My husband and I met working at Assateague Island National Seashore as park rangers. However the funny part is that we went to the same college, same classes but never met. Also our high school marching band crossed paths multiples times too since we both grew up outside Pittsburgh, PA.
I'd rather shovel manure with a spoon than put together cabinets!! Nice Farmall! *drool*
So, that is a pack of good looking Sonne boys, glad Tammy said yes. Coles scenes of the house are so fun to watch (family helping). Brian standing by the new manure spreader really give a perspective on how huge it is.

My friend invited me and hubby to the same D&D game ,that week. We shook hands and looked at each other life was over as we knew it. ! Lolol. I have stopped rooms of Baptists telling that story because they don't like that game! Which I found out! Lol. I work in a school! Lololol. Inner city school. Lololol. It's a small bible belt. I'm going to that place down under. That H E double hockey sticks! Haha! Oh, so is he! Haha! According to them. Haha

Oh, Brian. There is absolutely no mystery why she married you. I married one just like you. Kind, thoughtful, funny, strong, faithful. What's not to love? Not big on manure spreading, but love your stories, love how sweet and gentle you are with Cole. Love watching you work. Especially pounding nails. I don't know why but it gives me the tingles....🥰
Thank you for taking the time to share especially with everything you have going on well all of you thank you

I wait for your videos all the time. I miss the farm life (I grew up on one) . The wedding and the rest of your life will go off without a hitch Brian And Tammy did a great job raising you
Wait till you have kids and the Christmas presents all say “some assembly required.”
Love the Farmall, spent many hours on them. Mowing, disking, plowing, hauling firewood, pulling single row corn picker.
Brian, back when I was a kid we had a 75 bushel manure spreader and then my dad went and got a 130 bushel manure spreader, we felt like we were in the big time, now! 🤣😎👍
Those were the days! 🤣😎

All that stress goes away after the reception brother. Starting November 5 you’ll wake up and all is good. Start making them babies, get that out the way while your still young. That’s a nice looking M series Farmall Brian 🤟🇺🇸
The second it started took me back a long time on my grandfather's farm.
Brian, you are the master of the manure spreader. . It's good to see the boys coming together to help brother Cole with the cabinets.. Here" s wishing your family a long and prosperous life.
Since someone else said it better than I was thinking of it congratulations and in joy
My brother and her brother were tossing a baseball and it went over the fence and the guy wouldn't give it back.
I went to see if I could talk him into returning the ball.
This little skinny hippy girl said you'll never get that ball.
I was as polite and agreeable as I could possibly have been and the old guy gave me the ball.
Three months later she agreed to marry me.
That was 52 years ago and still going strong.
When it's right, it's right.
awesome
Getting them assembled is an option and probably a good chunk of change too. Hang in Cole, every guy has a little stress before the wedding. Just gotta push through and just laugh at the crazy stuff that might happen
