A Eurasian Eagle Owl. How about that! First time hearing about and seeing one. I love their names!! I've always found owls fascinating. Poor Minerva, just sitting there in the rain. Isn't there a place for her to shelter if she wants? Looks to me like Archimedes has the only place to get even partly out of the rain. That ain't right. I think owls are plenty smart. Just because an animal is hard to "train" by human standards, doesn't mean they're not smart. Toward the end, we got a good look at Archimedes' underside - he's got beautiful colors there. Thank you for showing us these magnificent animals.
