Hi! I love your '16 personalities as...' vids. I have noticed that your ideas stand out among other youtubers attempting the same - they often use the generic formula based on the most obvious, outer layer of a personality, whereas you come up with all the quirks or surprising reactions which don't immediately come to mind when one thinks about a certain type. I have noticed, though, that there is one type you don't seem to be able to get right. Your ISTJ has been reduced to the "annoying guy in glasses making lists" stereotype lately, while in reality there is so much more to this type. I know that grasping the way they function may be tricky to a feeling type (and I'm in no position to tell you what to do), but I just wish that you could give your next ISTJ a bit of dimension. There's really much going on beneath these glasses.

I have 2 friends whom I contact regularly and all my other "friends" are just there for gaming.
The INFJ one is spot on! I heard the first line and went “Oh, that’s me. That’s definitely INFJ. When I cut someone out of my life everything having to do with them went out in the trash and I cut out everyone that had to do with the them as well. I pretty much went scorched earth on anything related to his existence. And there was this weird thing where I hated any name that was similar to his or any any car that looked like his too. I thought I was just angry. Turns out I was just being an INFJ.

Hannah Raymond-Jones (I’m an INFJ) A lot of the time moving on really fast is kind of a facade in that I’ll cut them from my life and such, but I’ll still be constantly thinking about and being reminded of them. The best thing I’ve found is to remember as many things as you can about them and memories and thoughts and basically have a day to just break down and remember and after that don’t let yourself mourn them because you’ve already spent the time. I’m still great friends with two of my past people but one of them I completely cut off. Really just spend that one-two days and be done with them if they’re bad, and it’ll help so much I the long run! I wish you the best!

I’m an INFP & I gotta admit that after my recent breakup, I thought I’d be devastated but I was actually looking forward to all of the free time lmao. Like, yes I was still hurting and would randomly break down or even spiral into thoughts about the breakup but overall... even if we love love, I think us INFP’s love our freedom more than we realize.

Dating someone for only 1mo but known for over 1yr. I was head over heels for him & even clingy (ew). But he actually dumped me. I behaved a cross between an ENFP & INFP for the 1st few days. About 2-3 wks later, it's as if I suddenly went INTJ & INFJ.
When we ran into each other, I said he looked familiar & asked if I knew him from somewhere. When he replied that we used to date, I had this shit-shock facial expression of disgust saying, Um..... NO. Then I told him if I even knew him, I must be very forgetful or something. Drove him NUTS!!! #INFJ

@Redheaded Stranger That's kinda how I broke up with my ex girlfriend. Our relationship was mainly online but I'd been with her in person multiple times (She lived about 3-4 hours away.) I found/figured out that she'd been emotionally blackmailing and manipulating me and lying to me about suicide attempts and self harm. (as part of her manipulation), so after she tried to make me feel bad for her and asked "do you still want to be with me?" (Expecting me to do the whole "of course I do" saga) I just replied "I don't think we should continue the relationship at this point" and then didn't message her again. She couldn't decide if she was the "you hurt me so much" type, the "so you lied about loving me?" type or the passive aggressive "I'm better off without you loser, you don't know what you're missing lol!" type. Glad I'm not involved with that anymore, but that's a year and a half of my time, energy and emotional expenditure that I'm not getting back.

I don't know you, so I can't say for sure. But "Friends" a loose term. Made even more vague by applications and accounts that present you with the option to "Friend" people who are; at best loose acquittances. So yes, it's perfectly valid to be annoyed about a social tradition that holds little to no weight in a modernized society(This being said, in some cultures a "Friend" would be expected to die for you. So....).
Ok, intj was too accurate.... my ex was practically begging me asking if we could still be friends, and I reflected on all the frustrating conversations that made it clear that we were not even close to being on the same page mentally, and the fact that we have literally no common interests, and the fact that this would, if I allowed it, be a very forced and awkward "friendship." I said simply, "Probably not." Considering his emotional instability, I was worried that he would keep pestering me, but to my relief, he blocked me.

When us INTPs hyperfixate on our s/o so much that everything else fades away for us. Never been in a relationship or been in love, but I guess that’s something that can happen, given our nature to get overtly obsessive over the things that are important to us.
My husband's an ESFJ and that was so on point! One of the conditions he gave me when we started going out was that I get along with his folks (they're wonderful people BTW). He's also very courteous and polite and takes social norms very seriously. Receive a present, send one back and immediately CALL to say thanks. I struggle with being forced to do courtesy calls as an INTJ, but I appreciate him for introducing me to society.
(Just kidding, I generally dislike society, but he tends to do the diplomacy for me, so I'm grateful for that :D)
Compensating for each others weaknesses is a good thing, and you're a better human being then me for even trying to engage with society in the first place.

I've had that conversation multiple times, but took me many offended loved ones to realize that when I'm told they want honesty, they're lying. So now I ask "Do you mean actual honesty or is there a specific thing you're fishing for?" They still get offended. I still don't really understand why. I'm trying to give them what they want.
